  1. Add adult and child number parameters to deeplink supported parameters. It will be convinient to room booking chatbot. Client enter number of adults and children for search in chatbot and then receive results with booking engine link to continue booking process. For client will not be necessary enter person number twice (on chatbot and on MEWS sbooking engine site).

  2. Currently occupancy or capacity information (adultCount, childCount) is only available in event data after the user has selected a room, however the data is available in the UI when the list of rooms is shown to the user.

    For 3rd party tools (like price comparisons widgets) that need to compare rooms with capacity information this presents a real data accuracy problem.

    If the data could be exposed on each availableRoom in the distributorAvailabilityLoaded event it would not only ensure the event is consistent with the UI but also improve the accuracy of third party tools.

  4. 1- Add the option to make mandatory that the user (guest) fills in information before they can add the product to their stay. Example: offer airport transfer but then make it mandatory for the user to input the time and airport of arrival.
    2- Add conditions to products so that they can only be chosen if such conditions are met. Example: minimum of 4 people must book in order to book a ski lesson

  7. In order to successfully use Google META Search, the VAT and all city taxes should be displayed at some point during the booking process in the booking engine. This is a requirement from Google when you want to use META Search: https://support.google.com/hotelprices/answer/6064432?hl=en

    If you don't have this, your website might be penalized, because the hotel is not allowed to show in the top positions in META.

  8. Hi Mews team,

    We are using Mews Distributor for our Pay on Arrival dates with activated 1% Pre-authorization on credit/debit cards.

    However, the Distributor states that customer will "pay" the 1%.
    For example, if the whole booking costs £350.00, the customer will be pre-authorized for £3.50.
    Mews Distributor currently states that the customer will "pay £3.50".

    This is incorrect, as full payment, not a remainder, will be taken on arrival.

    Can we please have the wording changed from "pay" to "pre-authorized" or similar.

  10. Be able to modifiy the product rate depending on the date booked. For example, if you have "Dinner" as a product and its price is changing depending on the day of the week (weekdays or weekends) or the period of the year (Christmas, August...) it is going to be awesome to be able to change its price for every single day you need to.

  11. The booking engine always defaults to tomorrows date

    · Given that we are a seasonal property please can we default to our winter opening date... as irritating for people to search for rates over the period that we are closed

    pre-checked boxes for marketing updates do not constitute valid consent under GDPR. Implementing this option would unfortunately conflict with the law.

  13. Have the option to restrict product to specific dates.
    For example: if we have New Years Eve Gala Dinner created as a product, would be very helpful to be able to restrict this product to only guests staying during the night of the 31st of December, and not to any booking date.

Adding an option for guests to make a donation (multiples of $2) to a selected charity (Red Cross or Regional Fire Association etc) at the booking Summary or Check out stage of their booking; similar to airlines and PayPal booking portals. Funds to be paid direct to the Charity bank account with your company reference for reporting.

  15. Price shown on Booking engine is always in Euro first.
    This is not convenient for guests who book outside euro countries.
    If guests select their language then rates change in their selected currency automatically.
    It is so much easier for them to understand the price.

  16. Products is not always appropriate as an extra that is offered when booking. I would like to be able to modify Products to Experiences in my case but others may find another term more suitable.

  17. We want to be able to sell a product for example a tour/certain event/vouchers separately from a room reservation. We also want to be able to specifically choose certain dates when these products (tours) are available.

  18. suite au développement de ancv de leur paiement connect avec chipie for e-commerce j'aimerais bien offrir au client la nouvelle possibilité de paiement de leur séjour avec leur chèques vacances ANCV directement en ligne via the ancv shopID. this would mean that beside the credit card paiement they could choose to pay online with the reservation with a connection to ancv directly their reservation over mews distributor. you can call the connection team of ancv +33969320616

  19. Booker for Distributor: The email address should not be a mandatory field as the assistants do not know each single email address of all employees they are doing reservations for. At the moment they are using the same email address for different guests. So the guest profiles are overwritten anytime. If we are creating reservations manually, the email address is also not a mandatory field. It should be enough to have the email address of the booker. That is the only way to use the distributor valueable for corporate guests.

    Hi Mewsers,
    for all booking done by booker, you can now configure whether the guest e-mail is mandatory or optional.
    We recommend to keep guest’s e-mail required but if you need to set guests e-mail optional, here is how to do it:

    1. Go to Settings > Stay > Distributor configurations and select the configuration from the list.

    2. In the configuration scroll down to field:
    “Guest email (when booker is not a guest) *” and select “Optional” option.

    With this set up only booker’s e-mail will be required on the “Details” page.

  20. The hotel should be notified by email when a guest makes a modification or cancelation of his booking on Mews Distributor (same logic as when a guest makes a booking).

    Hi Mewsers!

    Thank you for your feature request. In the description is mentioned that “hotel should be notified by email when a guest makes a modification or cancelation of his booking on Mews Distributor”.

    Guest cannot cancel the bookings or modify them in Distributor as they are not logged in and thus there is nothing to notify about in Commander.

    Can you please clarify in comments what is the desired functionality you want to achieve? Or how would you like to improve your operations in this matter?
