We reopened this request for further upvotes. It is fairly clear what is being requested and it will need more investigation from Mews. In the mean time we would ask you to continue to up vote if this is still a required connectivity feature request.
Within Mews, there is a messaging hub where users can have two way conversations with guests.
By adding messaging to the Connector API, integrators would be able to push in messages and receive messages. For example, a chatbot.43 votes
Please continue to upvote this feature. It has not been added to our roadmap as yet as we’re looking for more use-cases and upvotes.
We need a more detailed descriptions in action log and in origin for those integrations that use the connector API.
We currently have multiple integrations (room checking, IReckoU, Omniboost, Zapier, Pxier, etc.), it's is impossible to understand in our analytics (POWER BI) through which channel a booking came if it just says connector for all.
Same applies for action log. If something went wrong. How do we know which integration made the change if all indicated system?26 votes

Have the option to restrict product to specific dates.
For example: if we have New Years Eve Gala Dinner created as a product, would be very helpful to be able to restrict this product to only guests staying during the night of the 31st of December, and not to any booking date.25 votes

In the call reservations/getall, 'Cancellation Reason' is not included in the response. This would provide integration partners with more granular data of why a reservation was cancelled and improve 3rd party reporting and revenue management. Available information for cancellation reasons from the system would include:
- Confirmation missed
- Booked elsewhere
- Force majeure
- Guest complaint
- No show
- Price is too high
- Service not available
- Input error
- Invalid payment
- Travel agency

Thank you for your feature request. In the description is mentioned that “hotel should be notified by email when a guest makes a modification or cancelation of his booking on Mews Distributor”.
Guest cannot cancel the bookings or modify them in Distributor as they are not logged in and thus there is nothing to notify about in Commander.
Can you please clarify in comments what is the desired functionality you want to achieve? Or how would you like to improve your operations in this matter?

allow developers to control whether a reservation is (un)locked via the api (i.e. allow changing the AssignedSpaceLocked property using /api/connector/v1/reservations/update)13 votes
Integrators are currently not able to update a reservation already existing in Mews with notes. Creating an update reservation endpoint would allow an integrator to do so.13 votes
We are working with Wihp to display our rates on Google. Actually Mews is not able to provide the cancellation deadline for each rates, other OTAs are able to provide rates per room category and with cancelation deadline. We need to be able as well to show to our customers our cancelation policy per rate category.12 votes

iDeal is an external payment type in Mews Commander, however we cannot send an external payment via the API with this payment type and has to be listed in the notes.12 votes
In the API make all external payment types available for adding a payment, not only cash or credit card. Also add a possibility to add an external id through the API that will end up in the payment report.12 votes
