  1. In the call reservations/getall, 'Cancellation Reason' is not included in the response. This would provide integration partners with more granular data of why a reservation was cancelled and improve 3rd party reporting and revenue management. Available information for cancellation reasons from the system would include:
    - COVID-19
    - Other
    - Confirmation missed
    - Booked elsewhere
    - Force majeure
    - Guest complaint
    - No show
    - Price is too high
    - Service not available
    - Input error
    - Invalid payment
    - Travel agency
    - Requested by guest

  2. For the connector API it is necessary to retrieve all rooms each time an API Call is made to pull the space feature, this is quite a heavy call for TSH as some hotels have 700 rooms.

    Could Mews consider to introduce a filter by room name ideally?

    This way Ireckonu or another integrating partner does not need to pull all rooms each time.

  3. I guess this is a bug in the API.
    The call never returns any CompanionIds within a reservation. The companions have been added both, by API Call and via the MEWS frontend

    distributor.setCurrencyCode(currencyCode);

    distributor.setEndDate(date);

    Can we please have:

  6. Now you always need to enter a period when you are looking for a bill (bills/getall). And the period cannot exceed 3 months. If we do not know when an invoice was issued, we just have the number, it is not easy to find.

  7. In Belgium we have OGM numbering, partners could handle this via the api if there would be an UpdateBill request available in which only the notes can be updated of an open bill.

  9. Adding an option for guests to make a donation (multiples of $2) to a selected charity (Red Cross or Regional Fire Association etc) at the booking Summary or Check out stage of their booking; similar to airlines and PayPal booking portals. Funds to be paid direct to the Charity bank account with your company reference for reporting.

    With all of the global crisis' people are trying to find ways to help and allowing our high traffic websites to be used as channels to be able to help would be a great tool. It would also allow for companies to promote…

  11. 1- Add the option to make mandatory that the user (guest) fills in information before they can add the product to their stay. Example: offer airport transfer but then make it mandatory for the user to input the time and airport of arrival.
    2- Add conditions to products so that they can only be chosen if such conditions are met. Example: minimum of 4 people must book in order to book a ski lesson

  12. Get All Accounting Items: doesn't have a Service ID filter like Get All Reservations does. Once Spacetime launches: as we are filtering Reservations to show only the Accommodation/Stay bookings, we also want to only receive the Accommodation/Stay accounting items. As a single Accounting Category ID can be shared amongst multiple services, if we can't filter by Service Id we may end up including postings in Accommodation reporting that shouldn't be included.

    Hi Mewsers,
    pre-checked boxes for marketing updates do not constitute valid consent under GDPR. Implementing this option would unfortunately conflict with the law.

  14. Hi Mews team,

    We are using Mews Distributor for our Pay on Arrival dates with activated 1% Pre-authorization on credit/debit cards.

    However, the Distributor states that customer will "pay" the 1%.
    For example, if the whole booking costs £350.00, the customer will be pre-authorized for £3.50.
    Mews Distributor currently states that the customer will "pay £3.50".

    This is incorrect, as full payment, not a remainder, will be taken on arrival.

    Can we please have the wording changed from "pay" to "pre-authorized" or similar.

  15. Connect to RemoteLock - with contactless being the standard, many US hotels are moving to pin/door code locks and would be great to seamlessly integrate code generation, and include in welcome email.

  17. Currently, an integration partner can listen to Websocket notifications to receive real time updates on reservations, command, and space events.

  18. Nikki here, reaching out from Zapier Support. One or more of our mutual customers has requested a new feature in your app.

    Specifically, they'd like to be able to trigger a Zap off when a new guest checks in at a Mews kiosk (in order to send notifications to their team that the guest has arrived).

  19. At the moment it is possible to add a note to a reservation when creating it. It is not possible to update the note, but that's already covered here(https://feedback.mews.com/forums/919087-marketplace-app-store-integrations/suggestions/36660829-connector-api-update-reservation-with-notes).

    Since a reservation can have multiple nodes it would be really nice if we had a create note endpoint which can add extra nodes to a reservation.

    The value of the Notes of a reservation can be retrieved via Get all reservations. Using Update reservation, that value can be extended to include any additional notes to be added to the reservation.
