  1. It would be useful to add the new field "Reservation Source" to the API as many hotels use it interchangeably with "Channel Manager" to indicate channel information.

  2. There are a lot of issues arising from the fact that we do not have the dates an accounting item or bill is created and updated.

    We would like to maintain a snapshot of the accounting items and bills dataset for a 4 year period (2 years past, 2 years future). We would like this to be as "synced" as possible. We are doing this by making an API call for all accounting items every hour. The reason we have to be pulling the entire dataset is because a deletion of an accounting item is possible. d

  3. Add the possibility to update the release date when reservation is updated.
    Currently, if a reservation's arrival date is changed and its release date is after the new arrival date, the update is not possible via connector API and the user has to make the modification in the UI

  4. The current rates/getall API call does not bring up the Rate Description and Rate Segment.

    Regarding the Segment: Arguably, someone could link the rates response to the reservations response and grab the Segment of the rate from the reservations it's linked to. The issue however is that once a rate is applied to a reservation, the user can go to the reservation and change the segment field, which leads to different segments on the reservation level and the corresponding rate level.

    Regarding the Descriptions: It would be useful if we can have the Rate Descriptions in the rates/getall API response…

  7. Currently unable to attach the company to a bill via Connector API. Having this enables possibility to fully automate bill management for corporate/event bookings.

    One way could be to allow integration partners to specify CompanyId in the bills/add endpoint.

  8. The VAT rates applied cannot be extracted through the rates/getall API call or any other calls yet.

    This is the "Tax Rate" field shown when you view a rate in the Mews website.

    Due to various changes over the last year, this is crucial to have for reporting.

  9. We need a more detailed descriptions in action log and in origin for those integrations that use the connector API.

    We currently have multiple integrations (room checking, IReckoU, Omniboost, Zapier, Pxier, etc.), it's is impossible to understand in our analytics (POWER BI) through which channel a booking came if it just says connector for all.

    Same applies for action log. If something went wrong. How do we know which integration made the change if all indicated system?

  10. It could be a great idea to have the possibility to settle a baby occupancy, apart of the adult/children occupancy.

    For example :
    Our first Room Category can welcome 2 adults or 1 adult +1 child, so I have to settle the maximum occupancy for this room to 2.
    This same Room can also welcome 2 adults/children + 1 baby with a cot.

    With the current setting, couples with baby won't be able to book this room because of the maximum occupancy of 2, to avoid booking of more than 2 people.

  12. Add adult and child number parameters to deeplink supported parameters. It will be convinient to room booking chatbot. Client enter number of adults and children for search in chatbot and then receive results with booking engine link to continue booking process. For client will not be necessary enter person number twice (on chatbot and on MEWS sbooking engine site).

  13. Some regular guests have fixed specific request they always need: bath, low floor, diabetic, …
    At this moment we can put this in the profile of the guest ‘intern information’.
    Problem is when we’re making a new reservations we don’t see this information automatically.
    We’re obliged to go to the profile of the guests and then to have a look in the submenu ‘intern information’.
    Is there no other option to see this automatically in notifications, or somewhere else, so we don’t have to check for every new reservation if the guests has intern information?

    API Endpoint that would determine whether a particular bill item originated from POS.

    You may need to have this flag set to true when items are pushed into Mews.

    What's our Use Case?

    We want to be able to retrieve bill items that have originated in POS to Mews and we'll use Mews' interface to receive this information.

    However, we only want POS specific items, other items not originating from POS we don't want.

  15. At the moment we have support for:

    • getting resource blocks
    • adding resource blocks
    • deleting resource blocks

    But we're unable to update resource blocks though it is possible within the Mews application.

  16. Mews now send and API call to Hotek Key cutter for only one key at a time, if you want to create multiple keys at a time it send it separately and not in one command. We check with Hotek and they confirmed to us that Mews send multiple keys creating in different commands and not in one command. This cause a lot of irritation with people at the reception, because it's not clear when the first key is created and when they need to put the second key on the card reader. Allowing duplicate keys is not and option…

  17. Bonjour,

    Afin de pouvoir programmer correctement mon contrat de location sur Zapier, il me faudrait pouvoir retrouver le montant total de ma réservation pour l'intégrer dans mon document légal.

    Or mews n'envoie pas cette donnée dans Zapier (impossible de la retrouver dans les zap). Pourriez vous remédier à ce problème pour que mon établissement puisse se mettre dans le l'égalité du droit de location de meublés en France ?

  18. Currently when you receive a websocket message to say, for example, there's a new reservation, the message doesn't say which Enterprise it is from. If you try and create websocket connections to multiple Enterprises, you can end up with them all coming in on the same channel and there's no way to know which one is which. Without this, it is not possible to query the API with the correct access token to get further information about the reservation.

  19. Some products have a limited inventory f.e. babycot/ parkingspace/ extra beds...
    It would be very helpfull to work with a maximum available product.
    We have a limit of 25 parkingspaces. If we don't keep this in an excel sheet, we overbook this product and have a severe problem. It would be helpful, that every time we book a parking in MEWS for a period for a guest, this automatically diminish in the parking product inventory, so we never can overbook this product. Also very practival for babycot and other products with limited availibility.

  20. For actions taken in Mews that appear on the Action Log, allow the employee GUID of who made the change (such as rates) to be shown in the response.
