  1. Can you please develop option to send a manual push for selected rate codes? At present when sending a push it includes each existing rate codes and it slows the system down for an entire day!!

  2. Child adjustments in the base prices are not going through to Synxis. Vital to be fixed so that rates between Synxis Booking Engine and Mews match when children are involved.

  3. Creating hyperlink so that by simply clicking on travel agency confirmation number in MEWS we are guided directly to the reservation on the OTA’s website. Instead of copying the number and pasting it on Booking.com, Expedia, Hotelbeds… etc.

  4. We are currently using a 1 property set-up to manage 2 different properties in mews as reservations are sometimes moved between both properties and the multi property set-up doesn't allow to just switch bookings. Because of this 1 property set-up, we can only link 1 of our properties to the Google Hotel Search integration. Therefore it would be usefull for us to link our separate property (with different address) to google as well.

    In our opinion, the necessary fields for google could be filled-in in the integration itself, and not taken from the property settings in mews.

  5. Zapier; allow for a zap to send the invoice upon closing to a specified e-mail address for checking and sending options. No need for the administration to manually go through all properties, but instantly receive closed invoice to their email and send these out to companies after verification.

  6. Our hotel consists of several buildings.

    In addition to the room, we also have to program public doors onto the key card.

    Otherwise we cannot use the kiosk function

    When moving onto the Mews Partnerships Program and being directly purchasable on the Mews Marketplace. It would be great to have a backend configuration to select which markets the Partner wants to be available for.

    Hello from the Mews Product Team! We've now made it possible for partners to indicate in which countries their solutions are supported. If you'd like to add this information to your Marketplace integration profile, please let our Technical Partnerships team know.

  10. Update the integration between Salto and Mews with a complete date and time format that also includes minutes instead of hours only.

    Currently, the Salto integration can only receive the check-in and check-out hour but not the minutes. So, if you have a check-in and/or check-out time set at the half-hour, for example at 11:30 am, the integration sends the check-out time at 11:00 am.

    We propose to solve this problem since it forces us to manage half an hour of checkouts for customers who are stuck on the floors, outside their rooms, or who cannot access the elevator with…

  11. Keys (using keycutter) are automatically made based on check-out and check-in times. It would be useful to make a key that works until 10h15 if the check-out is for example at 10am. Now, if guests forgot something or want to pick up luggage they left in the room at 10h01 front office needs to make a new key.

The integrations in the Marketplace have all been vetted and certified by the Mews Technical Partnerships Team and have proven to be a great addition to our eco system. Therefore we will not be dividing the Marketplace into two areas.

  14. Besides dividing the Marketplace into integrations' categories, I think it would be smart to divide it into integrations' country of reference. This would allow the user who is picking the integrations to first check the ones provided by the country where his business is located, as they probably are a better fit to his business type and are able to solve certain issues related to that specific country.

    We have made country selection available to all our partners. Many of them have already selected which countries they operate in. As a Marketplace user you will only find integrations that are relevant to the country of your property.

  16. Use case: allow guests to eventually check out on Operator tablet by using their key card as an identifier of the reservation/guest that is checking-out.

    Other use cases can include making use of "check-out" features available in key cutter programs such as Salto for increased security

  17. Yep, the issues we have that is looks like this mews connector is something you install on a desktop and then manually start it or something.

    We need to have this running on a server as a service/deamon, so it autostarts when we the server is started and not for a user to login and autostart.

    We have it autostarting, and autouserlogin, with locks the screen after a few moniutes, but that is not how it should be running, should be a bit more robust.

    Preferably also with something to monitor (logs, proceses, http requests) so our monitoring can see…

    A short update: we are currently investigating with our team to determine the feasibility of making a cross-platform, Windows-service ready, version of Mews Connector. More news on this investigation in the coming weeks. 

  18. In the current Salto integration with Mews, Mews only sends one room number/lock id to be encoded in Salto. This presents an operational challenge for properties that have the following room structure:

    6228 - main suite (parent space)
    230 - private room for 2 persons (child space)
    228 - dorm room with 4 beds (child space with 4 additional child spaces nested)
    228-1,2,3,4 - four separate dorm beds

    230 and 228 can be sold separately, as is any of the four beds. A party of 6 can also book the entire suite 6228.

  19. Lightspeed POS offers a Self Order Menu. It would be revolutionary if Mews can integrate Mews Navigator with this. As this would allow Lightspeed to identify the guest(Room Number/Guest Name) and then based on their purchases, post the necessary charges to the correct room. The self order menu would contain the menu/prices directly from Lightspeed and hence would not be needed in Mews.

  20. We have an action for "create order", which adds a service product. However, the orders/add endpoint in Connector API does not allow for adding of stay products.

    Add a Zapier action to allow for adding a reservation product.
