  1. The email our guests receive state “ "We can't process your payment for Merlet until it has been verified. Unfortunately, if it's not verified in 24 hours, your order could be canceled" we think is is not very welcoming, especially in these challenging times. Is is possible to personalize or change this message?.

    Hi all, currently this email is not customizable. Would you maybe benefit from:

    1. Email being customizable
    2. Email to change the wording
    3. New solution where the guest will be able to e.g. swap a card or re-try payment attempt

    If your answer is under 3. please reach out to me and I can add you to the beta access of this feature. If not, happy to review other suggestions!

  2. For travel purposes, especially because of a mandatory hotel quarantine, government agencies need to see the names of all the guests that will stay with us. The names should be added to the confirmation letter. You can create a new placeholder or add their names to the reservation details placeholder.

  3. At the moment, when the Guest is making the online check-in, the email address from the OTA (not the real email address) is already populated. THe guest should be obliged to introduce his real email address.

  4. Display the description of the Rate Group on the payment page. It is cumbersome to users that the only way to communicate deposit and cancellation policy text is within each and every rate plan. It is not sustainable and lots of opportunity for error. The policy text should be associated with the rate group not the rate plan and should display on the payment page.

  5. Would be great if cancellation policies can be added in reservation details mentioned in booking confirmation received by customer.
    Like this, he is fully aware of specific cancellation policies, even if booking directly with hotel via phone or email.

  6. It would be great to be able to turn off auto emails from Mews to the reservations made via our direct connection with Booking. The guests receive these emails, thinking they are from Booking, which confuses them.

  7. Booking engine: ability to hide or customise products for certain rates booked, e.g. if package/promotional rate includes free breakfast, full price breakfast product should no longer be available to choose (user journey)

  9. When a new guest file is created, the following mail is automatically sent to the guest. From my point of view there are the following possibilities for improvement:
    - The mail should be written more individually (ex. salutation and other text). It would be helpful if there is a separate template for this.
    - If the Pre-Arrival Mailing is activated, then the guest gets several mails. It would therefore be helpful if the reference to the new guest index is inserted in the pre-arrival mail.

  10. If there is no availability for the requested dates the distributor takes into consideration the days of the week the guest books. For instance, if they choose a weekend stay, it will narrow down on the days of the week that is chosen. This is a default setup but mostly guests would only know alternative dates 1 day before or 1 day after their originally requested dates and now they only get alternative dates for the exact same weekday as they previously requested. That does not make sense as normally guests are flexible to arrive one day before or after.…

  11. Client should create his profil and book himself services products in a drop down list (that we have preselected and not all service product) and pay with credit card.
    I would like a booking engine only on profil to sell vouchers and not room.
    Example : Mrs Alexandra Button want to offer a voucher to your sister and she want to select one or more service product gift voucher and pay the total amount. The gift voucher is a payment and not a reservation.

  12. Please make the Messages/chatfunction optional or opt-out.
    We don't want to use this tool to communicate since we now have to keep an eye on yet another system. Next to our socials, Whatsapp, mail, phone etc. etc.

  13. The information showed in navigator is not enough. Especially for guests with multiple reservations/cancellations. I am missing at least: Confirmation number, rate type, room type, price, extra products.

  14. Quotation now shares a mail template with optional reservation. They should be separate in order to make good use of the quotation function in commander. Without a separate mail template, the quotation function is worthless in my opinion.

  17. When a customer enters a Voucher code there are both - corporate/private and public rates.
    It is not possible to evaluate how many guests have booked a public rate instead of a private one they had access to.

  18. It would be very helpful if there would be a feature where the guests get a reminder on the day of their departure or the evening before with all extras or other services that still have to be paid. Then a button could be created on which the guests click and enter their payment information and thus pay all outstanding amounts and this would then have to be imported directly into the PMS via a two-way interface.

  20. Hi, for some addon/product, Operations needs some time to provide the product to the guests, for example they need to know 24h before the guest checkin. Would it be possible to have an advance purchase for addon please? For example this addon will not be available for booking within 24h before checkin?
