  1. As mews terminals are not available in all countries it is very important for us to arrange payment during check-in process with Kiosk please allow other external payment terminal integrations with mews/kiosk

  2. Hello,

    As of October 14, 2020, Google introduced new default property called Google Analytics 4 (GA4). If you would like to connect it with mews through Google Tag Manager (GTM), it is not possible to follow the exact settings as it was when setting the previous version of Google Analytics ( Universal analytics - UA).

    I am asking you if you can add an additional article or paragraph to your online documentation related to MEWS connection with GA4 through GTM.

  3. Right now as we know Booking.com guests are assigned unique Alias emails for communication/profiles. If a guest receives a confirmation email (despite the property being in German for example) the email is automatically sent in English as Mews will by default sent it in English to any profile that does not have a language associated to it.

    This is despite the property being in a German environment.

  4. To place a limit on the number of rooms available to be booked in one go. Many properties consider 9+ rooms a group reservation that has different payment, cancellation and packaging rules. Currently one person could book out the entire hotel before being able to apply a dynamic rate adjustment to increasing occupancy.

  6. The information showed in navigator is not enough. Especially for guests with multiple reservations/cancellations. I am missing at least: Confirmation number, rate type, room type, price, extra products.

  9. Guests complain sometimes that there are too many e-mails before arrival. When we ask, was there anything they found really unnecessary, they often refer to payment receipt e-mail. It doesn't even include the invoice. When booking, they accept the terms and know the payment will be taken from cc. Mostly they have also instant notification from bank to phone. Can we make this e-mail optional, please? Would be perfect if client can choose this option.

  10. For Non Refundable Bookings or bookings with a payment at confirmation, refuse bookings for which payment has failed.

    Currently, bookings are accepted with failed payments and only a settlement task in created. This leads to excess admin for bookings that provide no income.

  11. After the last upgrade of mews. It is not possible to extend an upgraded person in the upgraded category as Mews moves the booking to the originally booked room (regardless if blocked or not )

  12. Is there another format available for our booking engine to see what rooms are available ?

    Showing the availability as a "grid or chart " perhaps rather than the guests having to select dates?

  13. the property "The Olive boutique and spa" was thinking about uploading a video/GIF in the booking engine to show the customers more about the space. I found it interesting as we are striving to increase the Mews Booking Engine and therefore, the merchant usage.

  14. For the no show bookings, We would like list them as no show bookings at 06:00 the day after the original arrival date and DO NOT automatically charge anything on the guest bills. As the no show charges has no VAT, but room charges always posted with VAT. In settings of the stay service, I already disabled enable automatic no-show cancellation.

  15. Option to send a confirmation without rates. We have a lot of companies that book rooms for their guests. They, understandably, don't want their guest to know the price that was paid for the room. Now we have to make manual confirmation for these companies to forward to their guest.

  16. Offer an automatic upgrade (depending on availability) for guests who are booking through the hotel's website (powered by the Distributor booking engine). So when booking a space category, the guest will get automatically the next best space category (it can not be a +2 categories upgrade).

  18. When a customer enters a Voucher code there are both - corporate/private and public rates.
    It is not possible to evaluate how many guests have booked a public rate instead of a private one they had access to.

  19. It will be great if there will be the possibility of creating new email templates that we can send manually to any reservation that we want. This will save us a lot of time for example for all the reservations we have to charge with POS and the credit card is denied, we have send an email manually one by one in each case. It will be much easier if we can create new email templates on our own for cases like this.

  20. It should be nice to have a calender drop down list for the arrival and departure date when adding a new booking in the system. Now you have to swipe through the months and takes a lot of time, especially when it´s for reservations for 2022 for example.
