    Hi Mewsers,
    we just enabled the partial customization of the Before start email which is sent 48 hours before guest’s arrival.

    You can now add personalized details, such as specific arrival information or keep guests informed on your social distancing policies and encourage them to check in online.

  3. As many guests utilize online check-in before arrival, it is currently designed to ask for only legally required details as part of the form. Many properties, however, would prefer to collect specific pieces of data that may not be included as part of that legal obligation. For this reason, implementing optional or customizable fields for online check-in would help properties to prioritize the data that is valuable to them.

  6. To increase direct bookings they have suggested us to change the word "Check Availability" for "Book Now" at the booking engine. This way the customer unconsciously feels like reserving.
    It would be great also, to allow the customer to select the number of people he wants the reservation for, not only the arrival and departure dates.

  7. When creating places in Navigator, it would be nice with more classifications to chose from. "Museum", "religion", "point of interest" are some that would help.

    Hi Mewsers!
    We have discontinued the Navigator app for iOS which supported “Places” in Navigator. Currently, we run only web Navigator app where “Places” are not listed yet.

    As “Places” wasn’t heavily-used feature, we currently don’t work on adding the feature to the web version. But we still plan to add it in the future after we introduce several more features which properties and guests found more helpful (e.g. purchasing products in Navigator).

    Once we are going to bring Places back, we will contact you as we are keen to hear your opinion how the feature should work. Thank you.

  8. A button to click on that that specific guest will always receive a receipt after check out. So the guest doesnt have to ask for it every time

  9. Their should be an option to add Check-In and Check-Out parameters to a link so the customer only have to select room type and rate.

    for example:
    same as language parameters:
    ?language=de-DE

    how it would help us:
    ?date-in22/9/19&date-out24/9/19 or whatever is possible.

  11. Reservation confirmations include a QR code. It would be great to be able to track statistics on the number of flashes of this QR code.

  13. If the reservation is for 10 people, once they enter the passport information af all the adults, they can create 10 keys for the apartment. We would like you to introduce an option in Mews where the hotel manager could limit the number of keys that the client can cut at the kiosk.

This one is related to the book for someone else feature recently implemented on to Mews which is great but unfortunately when a booking is made like this, it adds the person who it booked instead of who it was booked for, see timecode 1.45 in this case the booking is for Denis Avis but when you go in to the dashboard tab there is nothing added to that booking, so in order to rectify it, we need to manually add it.   16. If the arrival and departure details can be downloaded onto the online form then this would suffice for an official registration form and would eliminate the need to print a registration form on guest checkin.

    Hi Mewsers!
    Check-in can now be completely papereless. Guests can now sign digital registration cards in Navigator before arriving!

    Now, when guests check in online, they’ll provide all of their legally required info and their signature to create a digital registration card. Arrival and deprature date are the part of the registration card.

  17. At the moment the guests only receive a failed payment email when you have set all your rates to be charged automatically. When set to manual charge, it does not send the guest an email and this then also has to be done manually. The system should send the guest a payment failed email even though the rates are set to manual charge.

  18. For ecommerce linking in Google Analytics - currently sending a Client ID in the URL does not work as per https://developers.google.com/analytics/devguides/collection/analyticsjs/cross-domain

    It appears that linker is not working either (as per https://support.google.com/tagmanager/answer/7549390?hl=en) with a new Client ID always generated when going from client domain to mews.li to carry out an online booking.

    This means session data (such as traffic source) is lost and we cannot attribute revenue to the correct channels.
