  1. for large groups and when making use of an availability block, it would be helpful to create multiple release dates and have the option to auto release yes/no

  2. With Mews it is not possible in Tyrol to keep the guest sheet collection according to the law. Mews captures the signature but does not pass it on to Omniboost Feratel, which assigns the consecutive registration number. The legal requirements for the guest sheet collection can be found here:

    The biggest problems with the current process are:

    The main reporter cannot add the data of the accompanying persons.
    There is no sequential number assigned from Mews to the reporting sheet.
    If I use Kiosk, the signature already made is ignored.

  3. Create different types of confirmations for different types of rates. For example for the holidays we want our guests to receive the right confirmation with all their reservation contains.

  4. A space character at the end of an email address should be simply ignored and not be producing an error message.

    This is just a small thing, but well made form can handle this. :)

  5. At the moment the e-mails that are sent from the system are one size fits all. However, the tone of voice and info in e-mails towards guest differs per segment. It would be nice to set up different templates per segment.

  9. In France, it is now mandatory to give the postal code of the guest when you want to close the bill. So it would be very convenient to make it mandatory when the customer makes the reservation. Or to leave us the choice to add it as a mandatory information or not.

  10. When checking in guests "manually" it would be nice be be able to "force" a registration card to show up in the operator. Imagine walking to a check in desk, saying your name, and the receptionist makes your registration card appear on a tablet in front of you for you to fill in.
    It would connect the "kiosk" option from hostels, with the personal service of hotels.

  11. Please allow properties to disable the online check-in function at the guest portal.

    It is great that guests can access the guest portal, use the chat, see the reservations and fill in personal details as well as personal details of the other members that are traveling.

    We would like to keep the "chat with us" placeholder in the confirmation and prearrival email templates so guests can access the guest portal, check their reservations, chat with our reservations' team and fill in personal information, but deactivate the online check-in option.

    By default the online check-in is not activated when the reservation…

  12. Having date picker, category, room select, checkout and confirmation on all separate URLs instead of sitting on the one url the whole time would be much easier to manage with tracking and it we could re-direct to our own custom confirmation page.

  13. It would be great to be able to turn off auto emails from Mews to the reservations made via our direct connection with Booking. The guests receive these emails, thinking they are from Booking, which confuses them.

  15. When a new guest file is created, the following mail is automatically sent to the guest. From my point of view there are the following possibilities for improvement:
    - The mail should be written more individually (ex. salutation and other text). It would be helpful if there is a separate template for this.
    - If the Pre-Arrival Mailing is activated, then the guest gets several mails. It would therefore be helpful if the reference to the new guest index is inserted in the pre-arrival mail.

  18. When a customer enters a Voucher code there are both - corporate/private and public rates.
    It is not possible to evaluate how many guests have booked a public rate instead of a private one they had access to.

  20. Hello,

    As of October 14, 2020, Google introduced new default property called Google Analytics 4 (GA4). If you would like to connect it with mews through Google Tag Manager (GTM), it is not possible to follow the exact settings as it was when setting the previous version of Google Analytics ( Universal analytics - UA).

    I am asking you if you can add an additional article or paragraph to your online documentation related to MEWS connection with GA4 through GTM.
