  1. Booking engine: ability to hide or customise products for certain rates booked, e.g. if package/promotional rate includes free breakfast, full price breakfast product should no longer be available to choose (user journey)

    Hey Mewsers, Good News! We started working on your feature request and an iOS version of Kiosk will be available soon. Once released this will enable you to use the Kiosk app on Apple devices.

  4. As french grammar is very particular and the actual generic welcome message "bienvenue à/au" does not look appropriate, it would be perfect if the property could write the full welcome message.

  6. At the moment, in the email which is send to the properties there is missing the travel agency and the date of the reservations. Those two extra information would be great to have as it allows to have all the information at the first sight without going into the reservation. E.g. when it is a failed settlement at the same day of the arrival, we would ignore this email, as the guest will then pay later upon check-in.

  7. When we use the space types in combination with the booking engine, the name of the space type is displayed very prominently in the booking proces.
    When you book a house, boat, bicycle or special accommodation instead of a room, the booking engine shows it as e.g. a site.
    We would like to see this at least as an external name that you can change to whatever you want.

  9. At the moment the e-mails that are sent from the system are one size fits all. However, the tone of voice and info in e-mails towards guest differs per segment. It would be nice to set up different templates per segment.

  10. The idea is to improve the check-in via commander to be able to use it on a tablet and add these 3 functions :
    -credit card scanning
    -French identity card scanning
    -electronic signature

  11. Magic links are a fast and secure tool for logging in to an account without password authentication. By including a magic link in confirmation emails, customers who create reservations through OTAs such as Booking.com could use that unique link to log in to their Mews Navigator accounts, update their email to correct one, confirm it using a magic link, and then complete online check-in before arrival.

    Hi Mewsers!
    Magic link are for quite while available for you as placeholders which you can simply add to your e-mail. (if you use our default reservation confirmation template it’s already there).

    We provide not only magic links for the online check-in but for messaging for example. Please find all magic link in the list of all placeholders for the emails here:
    https://help.mews.com/hc/en-us/articles/360001840877-Set-up-emails

    Guest with booking.com addresses receives e-mails from you together with magic links (b.com resends these emails to their real address).

  12. We are expiring very unsatisfied guests who stays with us every week and is 'getting spammed with e-mails' both before and after each of their stay. We need to option to turn the automated e-mails off in the guest profile.

    These e-mails should still be sent to all new guests whereas returning guests seem to get VERY annoyed by receiving the same e-mails weekly in connection with their stays.

    Right now our only option is to completely remove their e-mail address from Mews which creates tons of issues with multiple guest profiles for the same guest, issues with sending confirmations…

  13. Right now as we know Booking.com guests are assigned unique Alias emails for communication/profiles. If a guest receives a confirmation email (despite the property being in German for example) the email is automatically sent in English as Mews will by default sent it in English to any profile that does not have a language associated to it.

    This is despite the property being in a German environment.

  15. Just as retailers do so, it would be great to track individual customers leaving the checkout process and to be able to send "abandon cart" emails.

Thank you for sharing your suggestions. This is not possible now to do, as the email is colelcted in the end and as well we need an opt-in from the customer. Possibility is to add GTM and do remarketing.

  18. Guests get a standard e-mail from mews that they have to fill in their credit card details, while some guests prefer to transfer the money or have paid through a channel as hotels.nl. Can we get an option to fill in if guests are paying with their credit card or otherwise, so not everyone gets the e-mail.

  19. To follow LQA standards, it is required to show the summery of reservation with following information:

    • arrival and departure dates
    • amount of nights
    • rates
    • category of the room

  20. This solution would allow the hotels to create "categories" of products and offer multiple versions of the same product.

    Example: the product (category) will be "Ski pass" for example, and the you can choose from a list of different passes (1-day, 2-day, child, adult...)

    Another example: a product of Excursions and a list to choose the different excursions options they have.
