  1. It would be great if guests would receive an automatic e-mail after departure to review their stay and if we could choose to show these reviews to other guests in the distributor when choosing/booking a room.

    Alternatively, guest can be asked to provide review during online check-out as well.

  3. The booking engine has a great functionality allowing guests to book in one reservation rooms for different set of dates.
    In the flow of the reservation, however, there isn't a clear call for action, or distinction letting the consumer know that this is an option. Only someone that knows how the booking engine works, would know that it's possible and where the click.
    It would be great if there was clearer path to this functionality, or a call to action before the reservation is confirmed, asking the guest whether they need another reservation for different days, navigating them back to…

  4. At this moment the e-mail named "before start" it's text is centered in the middle and not at the left as the other e-mail. It would be great if you could take care of this alignment too.

  5. It would be helpful, if the guests could fill out their company address directly at check in (registration form) with the mews operator.
    Also the same for the online check in is a company address missing.

  6. When a new guest file is created, the following mail is automatically sent to the guest. From my point of view there are the following possibilities for improvement:
    - The mail should be written more individually (ex. salutation and other text). It would be helpful if there is a separate template for this.
    - If the Pre-Arrival Mailing is activated, then the guest gets several mails. It would therefore be helpful if the reference to the new guest index is inserted in the pre-arrival mail.

  7. The ability to send out customized emails based on the day of the week a guest is arriving.

    As a hotel that offers different events and tours during the week, we want to be able to notify a guest prior to their arrival with information that is pertinent to their stay & experience only.

    Ie:
    Guest is arriving monday.
    They get email telling them about Monday Night Event, Tuesday Day Event, Tuesday Evening Event.

    Guest arriving on Wednesday.
    They get email telling them about Wednesday Night Event, Thursday Day Event, Thursday Evening Event.

  8. The information showed in navigator is not enough. Especially for guests with multiple reservations/cancellations. I am missing at least: Confirmation number, rate type, room type, price, extra products.

  9. Quotation now shares a mail template with optional reservation. They should be separate in order to make good use of the quotation function in commander. Without a separate mail template, the quotation function is worthless in my opinion.

  10. When viewing the booking engine on mobile, the property name is dropped from view. You can still see a tiny logo, but that's it. Some sort of solution here would be helpful so the booker knows for sure what they're looking at.

    thanks for the feedback. If you wish to modify the header of the booking engine, we recommend using the solution called “Distributor widget” which is basically a booking engine embedded in your web page.   11. In the USA, it is common to have a separate cleaning fee that is billed on top of the rate. Rather than have this blended into the nightly rate, which inflates the rate when a booker is doing comps, we propose that in the latter stages of the booking process fees are itemized along with the taxes.

    With that, the message displayed next to the rate that says "excluding taxes and fees" will then make sense. Right now, it is inaccurate since we're blending cleaning fees into the rate and can only make it known that the fee exists via…

  13. It should be nice to have a calender drop down list for the arrival and departure date when adding a new booking in the system. Now you have to swipe through the months and takes a lot of time, especially when it´s for reservations for 2022 for example.

  14. Please have a look at this issue with the online check-in.
    In short, we need the following to be activated when the guest proceeds with the online check-in option:
    1. Identify if the room is ready prior to proceeding with the online check-in, if the room is not ready; then the guest won’t be able to check-in.
    2. Guest information updated.
    3. Get guest credit card information.
    4. Charge the guest's credit card upon online check-in for the full stay/addons extras despite of the cancellation policy of the room rate.

    Hello,
    thank you for your input. The essence of this feature is to gather the required information before the guest’s arrival. The feature itself doesn’t provide a completely digital journey with bypassing the reception. Fully digitalized journey is achievable in combination with Mews kiosk. I recommend flagging new feature request in case you see the value in fully automated online check-in solution in guest portal.

    Feature naming is an outcome of the research with end users who identified this name as the best for the current nature of the functionality. We are currently re-validating this during our continuous guest research and we will consider your input as well.

  16. When people fill in the online check-in they reach the last step and are required to fill in their credit card details. In our country (the Netherlands) it's not customary that people own a credit card and are therefore often stuck at this step of the online check-in and don't know what to do next.   17. If you have set certain restrictions (MLOS / CTA / CTD / ...) in Mews, it would be nice if the guest can see them in the Distributor. Right now the guest only gets a feedback of no availabilities, which is incorrect in most of the times.
    If the guest could see active restrictions in the calender it would result in not loosing business by showing no availabilty.

  19. After the last upgrade of mews. It is not possible to extend an upgraded person in the upgraded category as Mews moves the booking to the originally booked room (regardless if blocked or not )

  20. Offer an automatic upgrade (depending on availability) for guests who are booking through the hotel's website (powered by the Distributor booking engine). So when booking a space category, the guest will get automatically the next best space category (it can not be a +2 categories upgrade).
