  1. Offer an automatic upgrade (depending on availability) for guests who are booking through the hotel's website (powered by the Distributor booking engine). So when booking a space category, the guest will get automatically the next best space category (it can not be a +2 categories upgrade).

  2. On the body of the email the guest receives, it would be good to change the signature line in the email. We would like to change “The Mews Team” to “AutoCamp Russian River”. Our guests don't know who "The Mews Team" is and it should default to the property name.

  4. If a property works heavily with packages, the confirmation clients receive are not aesthetically pleasing. All products are listed in the confirmation and it is not ideal.
    Can we remove this from the confirmation?

  5. Currently, with a self check-in through Operator, the only time the guest is informed about his/her room number is at the final step of the check in.
    We would like to set up an "After check-in" which the guest can look at if he/she doens´t remember the room number and no reception is there. In order to do so, we would need a placeholder for the room number! Would be great, thanks!

  6. Is there another format available for our booking engine to see what rooms are available ?

    Showing the availability as a "grid or chart " perhaps rather than the guests having to select dates?

  9. The Navigator Website has several different languages available. However, every guest that does not speak English will get the google translate notification. If a guest enables this option, any language will get translated to the selected language. For example: German to German, which results in an unreadable text.

    This is highly recommended especially for German houses. In some text it even says "you die".

  11. Guests complain sometimes that there are too many e-mails before arrival. When we ask, was there anything they found really unnecessary, they often refer to payment receipt e-mail. It doesn't even include the invoice. When booking, they accept the terms and know the payment will be taken from cc. Mostly they have also instant notification from bank to phone. Can we make this e-mail optional, please? Would be perfect if client can choose this option.

  12. We're facing difficulties in some properties where under aged guests are checking in online. There should be a way to stop those online check in. At the moment they could just pick up the key on the operator kiosk and go to the room. Therefore we would accommodate them, without knowing they are under the allowed age, which is against the law. We do have the responsibility to control the age of the guest. This already happened and cause complains and frustrations on hotel and guest side.

    It would be great it there is an option to delete (internal) messages threads and to remove members from the thread.

  16. It would be welcome to add soms extra text in the confirmation email. So if you make a booking over the phone you can add extra text in the confirmation email regarding the client's booking.

  18. The pre-arrival mail was recently released as a new functionality. Which was very handy to inform customers about the COVID measures taken in the hotel. At this moment, you can't style this email template. Only add plain text.
    Please upgrade this functionality so it fits the brand of the hotel and a possiblity to add images and others.

  19. Enable scanning of guest IDs/passports/credit card to prevent fraud. In order to prevent guests from creating reservations with fraudulent data with incorrect names and with stolen credit card for example.

    We don't want to use this tool to communicate since we now have to keep an eye on yet another system. Next to our socials, Whatsapp, mail, phone etc. etc.
