  1. At the moment it is not possible to set the footer of invoices in different languages.
    As we thank you the guest and wish him/her a good journey it is necessary to have the possibility to set this in other languages than only our main language.

    The heading (Invoice) and the names of the products are translated as well. Why not the footer?

  2. When sending a confirmation to a booker, the name of the guest does not appear on the confirmation letter but only the reservation number. This does not look professional at all and we receive many complaints by our guests. They feel like they are a number and not a guest.

  7. Allow custom Space Category names to be displayed in booking engine.

    Similar to Rates & Products create a External Space Category field in which we can set an external customer centric name.

It would be very helpful if there would be a feature where the guests get a reminder on the day of their departure or the evening before with all extras or other services that still have to be paid. Then a button could be created on which the guests click and enter their payment information and thus pay all outstanding amounts and this would then have to be imported directly into the PMS via a two-way interface.

  9. Hi, for some addon/product, Operations needs some time to provide the product to the guests, for example they need to know 24h before the guest checkin. Would it be possible to have an advance purchase for addon please? For example this addon will not be available for booking within 24h before checkin?

  10. Display the description of the Rate Group on the payment page. It is cumbersome to users that the only way to communicate deposit and cancellation policy text is within each and every rate plan. It is not sustainable and lots of opportunity for error. The policy text should be associated with the rate group not the rate plan and should display on the payment page.

  11. Please add an option when you check in a guest that the rooms status changes to the one that the hotel desires. We have the option for checked in rooms to change to dirty. Why can't you add checked in rooms changed to clean?

    As of now you have no function for linen change.

    You have decided that the way linen change is to be used in your system is by having the status dirty on staying guests.

  12. When you are in the booking engine, the property logo appears at the top left. On most websites, when you select the logo it brings you back home. In the Mews Booking Engine it does nothing. There is an "X" Box at the far top right corner that accomplishes this but with some users the "X" may mean to close the window. It would be a nice feature to be able to click on the logo and return to the home screen where ever you are in the booking engine.

  13. Dear support,

    Some of our guests don't trust Mews.li. They search by google or directly on mews.li domain and see our hotelier login page which they clearly don't understand.

    It would be useful if non hotelier mews.li visitor would have more info about Mews and why they should trust mews.li.

    Mews sends email from mews.com domain. problem solved :)

  14. Currently, online checkout is sent at 6 pm PST which is 3 am CET. When a guest arrives anytime after 4 pm PST they receive an online checkout only several hours after they arrive. For guests that arrive after 6 pm PST and have completed an online check-in, they receive an online checkout before they actually arrive which is confusing the guest.

    It would be good to allow the property to pick a specific time to send the Online Check-in and Check-out based upon their specific local times and property preferences. i.e. corporate, convention and leisure guests have different preferences…

  15. In the "Categories" screen there is always a "Maximum persons" info below the room name.
    For beds this always shows "Maximum persons: 1", which is quite confusing for a lot of guests. - It looks like there is only 1 bed left.
    Could you remove this info? Or is it possible to enable/disable this information by ourselves?

  16. We are expiring very unsatisfied guests who stays with us every week and is 'getting spammed with e-mails' both before and after each of their stay. We need to option to turn the automated e-mails off in the guest profile.

    These e-mails should still be sent to all new guests whereas returning guests seem to get VERY annoyed by receiving the same e-mails weekly in connection with their stays.

    Right now our only option is to completely remove their e-mail address from Mews which creates tons of issues with multiple guest profiles for the same guest, issues with sending confirmations…

It would make it easier to keep the checked in reservations at the bottom of the operator screen and allow us to select them and add a guest who checks in later than the rest so that they can complete the check in too. Now there is no option to collect their information without undoing the check in, and that is not viable as we then could loose previous guests' info and signatures.

  18. If one property has no availability, the message order is mixed up. Below the property which has availability, the message “We’re very sorry, there is no availability for the dates you selected.” and a “Please select different dates” button is displayed. Both, the sentence and button should be displayed below the property which does not have availability, else it is confusing for the users.

  19. For travel purposes, especially because of a mandatory hotel quarantine, government agencies need to see the names of all the guests that will stay with us. The names should be added to the confirmation letter. You can create a new placeholder or add their names to the reservation details placeholder.

  20. It would be great to be able to customize the requirements for a Kiosk Check. This would allow us to collect information that is not part of any legal environment based on our location.

    Right now we ask guests to utilize the kiosk but when it cannot collect all the information we need for a check in it sits unused.
