However, as Mews Operator was created with the intention of complete self-service, key encoder details were required as part of the configuration. You can now add personalized details, such as specific arrival information or keep guests informed on your social distancing policies and encourage them to check in online.

Hello, we are happy to announce that the first version of the gallery (multiple images per space category) has just been released on desktop today (November 13, 2019).
This is the very first, simplified version of the feature and additional functions (carousel, animations, mobile support etc) will follow shortly.

Magic links are a fast and secure tool for logging in to an account without password authentication. By including a magic link in confirmation emails, customers who create reservations through OTAs such as Booking.com could use that unique link to log in to their Mews Navigator accounts, update their email to correct one, confirm it using a magic link, and then complete online check-in before arrival.18 votes
Magic link are for quite while available for you as placeholders which you can simply add to your e-mail. (if you use our default reservation confirmation template it’s already there).
We provide not only magic links for the online check-in but for messaging for example. Please find all magic link in the list of all placeholders for the emails here:
Guest with booking.com addresses receives e-mails from you together with magic links (b.com resends these emails to their real address).

For automatic settlements via Mews Distributor, some users may find the total settlement amount to be unclear. Therefore, including this information in a more prominent way could be informative for all parties while also preventing any unwanted charges for future automatic transactions.9 votes
We have added the settlement amount to the checkout screen in Distributor recently. We are planning more improvements in this area in the upcoming months.
As guests are checking-in using Mews Operator, sometimes there may be alternate spaces available for an additional price. In this case, a new feature could allow properties to upsell these spaces so that guests can then choose a higher space category before they complete their check-in.24 votes
