  3. At the moment the guests only receive a failed payment email when you have set all your rates to be charged automatically. When set to manual charge, it does not send the guest an email and this then also has to be done manually. The system should send the guest a payment failed email even though the rates are set to manual charge.

  4. I’m traveling & staying only in Mews properties. My memory is not that great and would be amazing to see the hotel address and quick link to maps as well as after check-in show my space number. Would appreciate it as Mews hotels’ guest!

    Thanks for the idea and voting.
    Some while ago we actually released the property address together with link to Google Maps to Navigator – guest can find it in Reservation details section.

    He can also download Apple Wallet to his iPhone/iWatch (iOS feature only) where he can find this info together with his reservation details. It’s very handy as it gets downloaded to his phone. If you want to provide such a feature to guests add Apple Wallet placeholder to your emails. You can find the placeholder and instructions how to add it in our guide: https://help.mews.com/hc/en-us/articles/360001840877-Set-up-emails

    As space number is not displayed in Navigator yet, let me edit the name of this idea.

  5. From a revenue perspective rates per night should be mentioned on the confirmation email not just the total amount of the stay (if guests shorten their stay)

  6. For ecommerce linking in Google Analytics - currently sending a Client ID in the URL does not work as per https://developers.google.com/analytics/devguides/collection/analyticsjs/cross-domain

    It appears that linker is not working either (as per https://support.google.com/tagmanager/answer/7549390?hl=en) with a new Client ID always generated when going from client domain to mews.li to carry out an online booking.

    This means session data (such as traffic source) is lost and we cannot attribute revenue to the correct channels.

  7. Please note some guests get confused by Rs and think it is Indian rupees which off course does not represent the same value at all. It would be very helpful if the rates could be shown as MUR instead of Rs for Mauritius. Note Booking.com already does this, I guess for the same reason.

  8. We have recently added the competitor rate description with special offers when making bookings via our site. We'd like to know if it is possible to increase the font of this little text on the booking engine. It is barely legible and we'd like it to attract more attention.

  9. Add the measurement of a room type as a field into the Space Categories.

    This information is provided on OTA's to increase conversion on more expensive room types, but is not part of our Distributor (or Space Categories in the Commander).

  10. Going paperless is not achievable at the moment as it is not possbile to sign the registration form digitally other than the use of the operator.

    Hi Mewsers!
    Guests can now sign digital registration cards in Navigator before arriving!

    Now, when guests check in online, they’ll provide all of their legally required info and their signature to create a digital registration card.

  13. Show "This period of stay requires a minimum of X nights" when minimum number of nights is required to book.
    Or even better: show all room types that would be available if booking more nights.

  14. For properties with AutoCheck-in we need the booker to be able to fill in the data of all guests as some of them (old people and children) don't have email address to complete the compulsory data of the registration cards.

  17. Is there a possibility to modify the online check in somehow? We got a feedback from one guest that it would be nice to have a possibility to choose gender neutral as a sex and not only male and female. Or can we get the sex question off somehow? Thanks for the help!
