  1. It would be great if we could send a message to a group of guests staying/arriving on a certain period (for example to invite to some events or inform about ongoing maintenance).
    Maybe this feature could be added to calendar events (we create the event and have an option to send a message/invitation to all guests wihtin that period).

  3. Guest can use the channel of his choice to start communication with the property. (Email, Mews chat, OTA chat, WhatsApp, Messenger). The property receives and replies to all messages in one place - in Mews. The room for error is minimized as all conversation happens at 1 place. Answering is also faster.

  4. It should be nice to have a calender drop down list for the arrival and departure date when adding a new booking in the system. Now you have to swipe through the months and takes a lot of time, especially when it´s for reservations for 2022 for example.

  5. Allow the guest to attach a copy of the passport at online check-in.

    This feature would allow the guest to have a quicker check-in because the passport would be validated in advance by reception.

  6. If a property works heavily with packages, the confirmation clients receive are not aesthetically pleasing. All products are listed in the confirmation and it is not ideal.
    Can we remove this from the confirmation?

  7. At present, we can only type Latin alphabet in MEWS operator, so it is difficult for guests who use non apohabetic lunguages to find out their reservaion.

  8. To be able to choose which fields are visible in the reservation confirmation. It would be great to uncheck some of the values, such as rate name or product for certain costumers, but currently you can only delete the entire row (reservation detail) which is not an option.

  9. Please have a look at this issue with the online check-in.
    In short, we need the following to be activated when the guest proceeds with the online check-in option:
    1. Identify if the room is ready prior to proceeding with the online check-in, if the room is not ready; then the guest won’t be able to check-in.
    2. Guest information updated.
    3. Get guest credit card information.
    4. Charge the guest's credit card upon online check-in for the full stay/addons extras despite of the cancellation policy of the room rate.

    Hello,
    thank you for your input. The essence of this feature is to gather the required information before the guest’s arrival. The feature itself doesn’t provide a completely digital journey with bypassing the reception. Fully digitalized journey is achievable in combination with Mews kiosk. I recommend flagging new feature request in case you see the value in fully automated online check-in solution in guest portal.

    Feature naming is an outcome of the research with end users who identified this name as the best for the current nature of the functionality. We are currently re-validating this during our continuous guest research and we will consider your input as well.

  10. The Navigator should have a feature that will allow current guests to have live access to their bill, not just during the online checkout.

  11. When I enter my last name and confirmation number and the room to which I am assigned is not ready, I get the error message that I should come back later. Better solution would be if the tablet can automatically reassign the guest into different room of the same space category, which is ready to be used.

  12. For properties with AutoCheck-in we need the booker to be able to fill in the data of all guests as some of them (old people and children) don't have email address to complete the compulsory data of the registration cards.

  13. The keyboard layout is built in in the Mews Operator app.
    Only Qwerty is used in the app. Allthough 85% of our customers are using Azerty.
    I already contacted support for this problem and they confirmed that the only keyboard layout available is Qwerty.

    It should depend which language the customer choose, that changes the keyboard layout.

  15. Proeprties are willing to have the Marketing subscription opt-in to be offered to the guests at the moment of the online check-out for the guests who did not subscribe to receive the marketing notifications at the check-in. Guest might change their mind during the stay

  16. The main booker of a company always wants to receive a confirmation email with all of the guest names now the main booker only sees a reservation number of all reservations

  17. Guests get a standard e-mail from mews that they have to fill in their credit card details, while some guests prefer to transfer the money or have paid through a channel as hotels.nl. Can we get an option to fill in if guests are paying with their credit card or otherwise, so not everyone gets the e-mail.

  18. Request credit card for pre-authorisation only, prior to check-in (as part of online check-in process).

    We often have groups come to stay, where all room charges will be settled by the company or agent. However, we still must take a pre-auth at check-in for each guest, which slows down the check-in process. Right now you can email the guest prior to arrival to receive payment. Can we do the same thing, except request the credit in advance for a pre-auth only?

  19. The Operator now is not able to collect email addresses properly. When the reservation is from Booking.com for example and the guest enters a new email in time of check-in in Operator, the email is not updated.

  20. The call api/connector/v1/services/getAvailability

    Returns availability for the selected services (if it's booked or blocked).
    We can get availability for Accommodation.

    Can we get the restrictions applied to the returned JSON?
