Create an option to upsell guests with add-ons, products, services and room upgrades during the guest journey.
Guests should be able to book additional services, products even after they create their booking.

build a system or a bar code or something which the hotel can keep them in the room and the guest can communicate with the front desk directly from there phone does not matter if the reservation was from the booking.com expedia or direct all can scan them and just the way the expedia has the guest info with the conversation tab the mews can provide the same so the guest if they need something they can send the message directly to mews pms and the front desk can answer the message from the mews it self.

availability blocks - multiple releases and option to auto release
for large groups and when making use of an availability block, it would be helpful to create multiple release dates and have the option to auto release yes/no

Show reservation status in Mews Guest Portal
Show whether a reservation is in an optional or inquired state in Mews Guest Portal as it can be confusing for the guest.

Online check-out emails to be sent at customised time
Online check-out emails are currently sent at 5pm day before arrival. For properties with high focus on a relaxed luxury experience this has caused negative guest reactions. Ex a guests checks-in at 4.30pm, for a 1 night getaway and on their way to the spa 30min later they get a an email prompting online check-out. Whilst it may seem efficient it might not be a relaxing guest experience. An optional booking to be confirmed only with a credit card
At the moment when an optional reservation is made for a guest manually, the guest will receive an email from MEWS and they can just click on Confirm or Cancel.
When they Click on Confirm the optional reservation is immediately confirmed in MEWS but no credit card details are requested to guarantee the reservation.
We want the system to only give the guest the possibility to Confirm the reservation once they have inserted their credit card details first.

Ability to check directly via the reservation if a mail has already been sent
It would be easier if we could directly see via the reservation if emails of confirmation, facture sent, ... has been already sent and even if the delivery has failed.

Automatically delete digital registration cards after X years according to local data storage laws
In some countries, it is a legal requirement to save the registration card for X number of years and to delete these after a certain time. Currently this can only be done manually, one by one. Please automate the data deletion according to local laws.

Optimize Confimration Mails for Groups!
The Confirmations Mails are very hard to read for customers. You cannot even see wether the costs are per night or per person or in total! That leads to misunderstandings.

Create different types of confirmations for different types of rates. For example for the holidays we want our guests to receive the right confirmation with all their reservation contains.

Online check in options; Be able to remove the Newsletter box.
At one property we do not send newsletters so asking guest to choose to receive our newsletter when we know we wont send them any feels wrong. Should be able to remove this tick option.

Marketing Opt in per default in the US, UK and other eligible countries
On the American market the opt in works opposite than in Europe. The guest needs to opt out in case they do not want to receive marketing. Therefore we would like to have the option in the guest profile: send marketing emails set per default for all profiles created in the US properties. The guest then needs to unsubscribe or Opt out if they dont want to receive marketing emails.

Online check in - mandatory to finish all guests data to finish
Online CI confirmation.
When the guest wants checked in online and he booked the room for two, online CI would not be completed in Mews without filling information for both guest. Display text of "Order email template" text in the default confirmation email
When setting up space categories, we have the field "Order email template".
Unfortunately the text filled into this field is not sent in the default confirmation email.
You have to set up a custom confirmation email.My request is: Please include the "Order email template" text in the default confirmation email.

Give the option to deactivate the chat function.

e-mail templates per segment
At the moment the e-mails that are sent from the system are one size fits all. However, the tone of voice and info in e-mails towards guest differs per segment. It would be nice to set up different templates per segment.

Send test email from within 'Mail Templates'
As the 'Mail Templates' section is already limited, a lot of HTML and other code is needed for the formatting of emails. Please give us the option within the Mail Templates section to send a test email to a custom email address.

Resend Online Check-out Email
Would be nice to be able to remind the guests to check-out online via mews mailing. This way, if the guest leaves, we can prompt them to click the link and settle their account instead of calling them to chase payment

Loyalty Programs - Add A Dedicated Section in Profile For Loyalty Program/s, Membership Levels, Colour-Coded Button & Hoverable Benefits
Under Internals there is currently only one Classification to select and that is 'Loyalty program'.
This is too generic, and doesn't indicate which program the member belongs to (Accor has three distinct loyalty programs) as well as which membership tier or level the guest is currently at (are they entry-level or a mega VIP platinum or diamond member)?
I would like to recommend that on the Profile screen that Files and Merge be moved down and a dedicated section for Loyalty be added, that can be fully customisable to the hotel's needs. This way we can have all programs and…
