  1. Create an option to upsell guests with add-ons, products, services and room upgrades during the guest journey.

    Guests should be able to book additional services, products even after they create their booking.

Whilst its 'controlled' in the booking flow that a guest cannot complete the reservation without ticking the acceptance box for T&Cs, when it comes to defending a chargeback it supports a stronger counter-challenge if we have the ability to send a screenshot of the reservation summary with the datapoint captured that the T&Cs were accepted and timestamped.

  3. Allow customization on when a product should or shouldn't be shown to the guest.

    Some examples:

    • Don't show breakfast product for breakfast included rates
    • Restrict a product in the guest journey depending on minimum/maximum advance (will allow for gradually more expensive versions of the product as it gets closer to the date of stay)
    • Restrict a product for certain days of the week (only available on weekends)

  4. It is handy to be notified when an email has not been delivered.
    This means usually that the email address is incorrect, and we should contact the guest to see if they received all the information, such as the confirmation letter.

    Or if it possible to create an export schedule of the 'mail queue items' list/report.

  5. Mews currently does not allow restricting minors to be booked into selected room/space types. For example allowing a child to be booked to shared dormitories and especially as the sole traveler is in a breach of regulations in number of countries.

    Feature to add - option to select per space type to allow minors to be booked in and also whether only as secondary occupant to an adult or as sole occupant.

  7. Add the possibility to add conditions for the automatic emails.
    For instance, when a guest create a last minute booking and a pre-checkin email is is sent, make sure no other email is sent to fill the profil on the same day.
    Avoiding dupplicate information.

  8. When guests add a product during online check-in a task is created, we would like to be able to select whether the task creates or not and have the option to disable this automatic task from creating.

  9. The Before Start email is sent to all the bookings, so it does not take in consideration which Confirmation Email's are Enabled in Visit Option.

    Please considere to send the Before Start email only the Confirmation Email that is ENABLED and ignore the ones disabled.
    This will help to send the information to the right customers instead of sending the invitation to all customers and create confusion.

    It would be great if we can upload our own favicon on the MEWS distributor links.
    In this way users better understand they are on the hotels brand website.
    And it will help for Google Hotel Search; currently the hotels show with a green generic logo.
    There is the option to request your own logo however following Google’s guidelines the favicon must match the final url:

  11. Integrate with Airbnb, Expedia and Booking.com directly including Chat API so that we can have a universal chat experience for our guests, currently we are having to use a clunky external system that provides a unified inbox.

    But it would be SOOOO much better if this was integrated directly into MEWS.

  12. At the moment, you cannot send a message or email from Mews to your guests.
    This functionality needs to be implemented ASAP. I really expect this functionality from Mews. There should be an easy way to send out a message to all inhouse guest at onec for example.

  13. When we use the space types in combination with the booking engine, the name of the space type is displayed very prominently in the booking proces.
    When you book a house, boat, bicycle or special accommodation instead of a room, the booking engine shows it as e.g. a site.
    We would like to see this at least as an external name that you can change to whatever you want.

  14. The green sign shows up when all the guest completed the online check in. Thats rarly the case often we need just the date of birth of the second person and then the guest gets asked the normal registration form because nobody looked up the pre filled in regestrion card.

  16. I am sure this has been requested before, I know I have but I cannot find my original suggestion.

    The Booking engine should be in a Calendar format so that guests can see at a Glance which dates are available, either colour co-ordinated or cross out dates.

    Currently Guests have to just Guess what dates may be available... pot luck!

  17. Ability to add mandatory fields in Mews Booking Engine and transfer this data into the reservation information in form of notes or tasks automatically. Example, what is mandatory now is last name, email and if selected telephone number. We would like to have the ability to have specific preferences to better enhance the guest stay such as high floor, quiet location, near elevator, ADA. Also include the ability to have the guest select an estimated arrival time, example 8pm. This will improve housekeeping productivity.   18. Often the booker asks us to copy the guest in the proposal or confirmation emails. Currently, we have to send the emails twice (once at the time of booking and again through the booking module). Would it be more efficient and clearer for the guest/booker to have the possibility to add another email address (recipients) in CC for the proposal and confirmation emails?

  19. It would be great to be able to customize the requirements for a Kiosk Check. This would allow us to collect information that is not part of any legal environment based on our location.

    Right now we ask guests to utilize the kiosk but when it cannot collect all the information we need for a check in it sits unused.

  20. For a better customer journey, it would be very helpful to first choose date AND the number of persons per room, and then display all suitable rooms.

    That would make the online booking process f.E. for families much easier. Once Age based Product pricing is released, it would make the booking process of packages for families (f.E. with children Skiticket and adult Skiticket) much easier to be displayed.

    So the booking engine would work like this:

    Date & number of people -> room category -> Rate & Products -> Overview -> Details
