1- Add the option to make mandatory that the user (guest) fills in information before they can add the product to their stay. Example: offer airport transfer but then make it mandatory for the user to input the time and airport of arrival.
2- Add conditions to products so that they can only be chosen if such conditions are met. Example: minimum of 4 people must book in order to book a ski lesson6 votes
Make possible to show a breakdown of the bill on the Rates and Checkout views of distributor, in cases where a particular product is not optional for the customer, like a cleaning fee tied to a particular space or a membership fee tied to a particular rate. Right now, the price guests actually pay is higher to the one they are told to pay at checkout (in cases when a mandatory product is added inside the system).7 votes
For Non Refundable Bookings or bookings with a payment at confirmation, refuse bookings for which payment has failed.
Currently, bookings are accepted with failed payments and only a settlement task in created. This leads to excess admin for bookings that provide no income.27 votes

For example, if you have "Dinner" as a product and its price is changing depending on the day of the week (weekdays or weekends) or the period of the year (Christmas, August...) it is going to be awesome to be able to change its price for every single day you need to.3 votes

Hi Mews team,
We are using Mews Distributor for our Pay on Arrival dates with activated 1% Pre-authorization on credit/debit cards.
However, the Distributor states that customer will "pay" the 1%.
For example, if the whole booking costs £350.00, the customer will be pre-authorized for £3.50.
Mews Distributor currently states that the customer will "pay £3.50".
This is incorrect, as full payment, not a remainder, will be taken on arrival.
Can we please have the wording changed from "pay" to "pre-authorized" or similar.
Booker for Distributor: The email address should not be a mandatory field as the assistants do not know each single email address of all employees they are doing reservations for. At the moment they are using the same email address for different guests. So the guest profiles are overwritten anytime. If we are creating reservations manually, the email address is also not a mandatory field. It should be enough to have the email address of the booker. That is the only way to use the distributor valueable for corporate guests.3 votes
for all booking done by booker, you can now configure whether the guest e-mail is mandatory or optional.
We recommend to keep guest’s e-mail required but if you need to set guests e-mail optional, here is how to do it:
1. Go to Settings > Stay > Distributor configurations and select the configuration from the list.
2. In the configuration scroll down to field:
“Guest email (when booker is not a guest) *” and select “Optional” option.
With this set up only booker’s e-mail will be required on the “Details” page.

When you have 2 or more properties and one property has availability but the other property doesn't, it shows a statement in the distributor:
"We're very sorry, there is no availability for the dates you selected."
This is confusion for guests and should be taken away and only show this sentence when all properties don't have availability.

Or even better: show all room types that would be available if booking more nights.

Price shown on Booking engine is always in Euro first.
This is not convenient for guests who book outside euro countries.
If guests select their language then rates change in their selected currency automatically.
It is so much easier for them to understand the price.3 votes
Clear breakdown of the total cost with VAT and all City taxes clearly displayed at some point through the booking journey.
In order to successfully use Google META Search, the VAT and all city taxes should be displayed at some point during the booking process in the booking engine. This is a requirement from Google when you want to use META Search: https://support.google.com/hotelprices/answer/6064432?hl=en
If you don't have this, your website might be penalized, because the hotel is not allowed to show in the top positions in META.4 votes

Thank you for your feature request. In the description is mentioned that “hotel should be notified by email when a guest makes a modification or cancelation of his booking on Mews Distributor”.
Guest cannot cancel the bookings or modify them in Distributor as they are not logged in and thus there is nothing to notify about in Commander.
Can you please clarify in comments what is the desired functionality you want to achieve? Or how would you like to improve your operations in this matter?

We should be able to have display rates with no decimals so it looks "cleaner". You have the option of tax precision under accounting configurations but it doesn't work as it always shows 2 decimals.15 votes
