Origin for Walk in
Due to the actual situation we have a high interest in walk in numbers. At the moment there is possibility to get a walk in figure. It can be only assumed reservations for the same day are walk ins, but its not clear at all. Therefore we request a walk in origin code which can be much better tracked.

Analytics to custom set your dashboard
the analytics might be a great idea, but it would be better if you are able to custom set your dashboard.
for example, able to search by company (rather than travel agent!), able to set a specific time bracket, pick up in the last day / week, cancellations in the last day / week.
you might be able to do all those things, but i don't want to have to do the filters every time i open the analytics.
plus i don't find the filters very clear (too many that make the screen tiny). some if not a lot are…2 votesHello from the Mews product team.

make product report available for all products, not only stay poducts
Hi, it would begerat if the product report showed all products, not only stay products, as we have many products and would like to find and filter them for statistics.

Mix multiple cancelation policies within one rate
To setup 2 policies applicable to 1 rate who has different season instead of creating new rates for each season. The current system block guest from booking through 2 seasons. Example: A stay Dec 17 to Dec 25. December 17 to 20 is low season and December 21st to 25 is holiday/peak season. Low season is 1 policy and Peak/Holiday is 1 policy. Currently, I have 2 rates due to the policy issue.

Non residential packages
Would be good to have feature where you can build a non residential package, that is not linked to accommodation. Foe example we have a spa and we do spa days. a meeting room where we have day delegate package.
You can create the package but you cant book the package as there is no "management accounts" or ability to add function space in Mews

being able to filter the availability screen by space category
it would be great if you would be able to filter the availability report per space category - when you have several space categories, you are not able to see everything on the one screen and are not able to see the space category or date when scrolling further to the right on the time line

Marketing Data should be able to be pulled by overlapping
At the moment you can only report by reservation created date. I want to look at guests in house within a month. eg - the overlapping filter on normal reports. Because when it is created date, those guests could be any date in the future

Billing address change from the right to the left.
The window on the envelope is always on the left. It is on the right side of the invoice. Changing the billing header address would be very helpful. Thank you.

Sort the timeline
Have a drop down that allows your to sort the timeline in different ways.
eg.
- by room category/room type (current)
**** by room number *** (MOST IDEAL UPDATE)
- by room location
- top floor/bottom floor
- interconnecting

We are happy to inform you that it is currently possible to group the reservation report by group.
Once the filter has been selected the report will be grouped by group name and sorted alphabetically. For more information on grouping in the reservation report, please visit this section of the Mews help guide:

Automatic bill closure on check-out
When the bill has been paid by the guest upon checkout the bill can be automatically closed.

Mews Analytics : Shortcuts on all analytic pages
If you are in Management analytics and you want to go to Pickup Analytics, you need to go via the burger menu again and select Pickup + ReEnter the Filter on all pages. It would be nice to have shortcuts on the screen to switch to all analytics keeping the'Filter on all pages'

Ageing factor in Mews Analytics
Financial analytics - open invoices. I see that you have the ageing periods in there. The only thing that is really still missing here is 1 amount: the ageing factor. Is there any chance that you would develop this. For those who are not familiar with this terminology; the ageing factor= SUM(outstanding amount*nr of days outstanding per invoice) divided by total amount outstanding.
This factor (1 number) gives an immediate glance of your accounts receivable status. Back in the days hotels were always aiming to be around the number of 34.

Add Day of the week next to Arrival date & Departure date
Onthe Resume of the reservation, an idea would be to have the Day of the date, mentioned next to Arrival & departure

When transfering items from an invoice to another guest the cursor should immediately be placed in the box so we can start typing.
When clicking 'transfer/other guest' the cursor should just immediately be placed inside the box so we can type the name.
This way you can immediately start typing and looking for the name or paymaster.
Right now it's a hassle to have to click again just to start typing.Perfect example: go to google.com and voila you can just type whatever you want to look up.
Can you imagine having to click the box again to actually start typing? Simply unnecessarily inefficient.3 votesThis works differently now.

Room move during the stay of our Guest
A guest stays in the hotel for a longer period of time. Now he has to move to another room. It would be nice if there is a possibility to move this room. For example with drag and drop. As an alternative, the booking should be marked with a symbol so that you can recognize the guest is staying longer in the house!

It is currently possible to split a reservation during a guests stay.
You can perform this action by opening a reservation → selecting the “properties” tab. In the section “Split reservation”, select the date and time that the guest will begin their stay in the new room.
Once you’ve select “Ok”, you will be able to view two reservations for the guest. The current reservation will be labelled “Checked in”, and the reservation for a future date will be labelled “Future”.
From here you can move the either reservation to a desired space.

Notification icon for release notes only when there is an unread(!) release note
First of all: I like that there is a symbol / notification in Commander (in the top right) for new releases.
But once I have clicked on it, I would like that it disappears, also after logging out and back in.
It basically should only appear, once there is a new release note. Because like that I always know that there is something new I should read.
But if I receive a notification (--> the icon shows up in the top right), but there is no new release note, it's a bit frustrating if there is no new release note.…

THE SYSTEM SHOULD BE BASED ACCORDING TO THE COUNTRY THE HOTEL IS IN.
WE ARE HERE IN CALIFORNIA USA AND WE HAVE MONTH DATE AND YEAR BUT THE SYSTEM IS UK BASED SO THEY HAVE IT IN THE OTHER WAY!!
IT MAKES CONFUSING FOR THE GUEST.
