Fellere kleuren
We zouden het fijn vinden als er op de tijdlijn meer met fellere kleuren gewerkt zou worden. Aankomst, ingecheckt, uitgecheckt/ toekomstige boeking.. Dit maakt het onderscheid makkelijker.

Increasing limit of product rules
It would be great if you would increase the limit of rate codes

We are happy to announce that we have released an update to the way in which product rules are structured.
What has changed?
You will now be able to add multiple products to each product rule.
What does this mean?
Where you used to need 4 rules containing the same conditions for 4 different products, you now only require 1.

zoom out timeline
We get a lot of overbookings which are not really overbookings we just need to move rooms around to do it.
Currently mews does not allow us to zoom out the timeline far enough to be able to do this. We have many bookings for more than 2 weeks so we cannot see the begginning and end of the booking on the timeline. This means it is impossible to move bookings around on the timeline to be able to fit in the 'overbookings'. this is going to be a huge issue for us if not fixed as we have this…25 votesHello, the monthly view is available in Mews and allows you to display bookings longer than 2 weeks. The moving functionality is currently not supported, but we will consider it in the next iteration.

Calendar with shown restrictions
For better usage of managing and deleting of restrictions there would be great to have a calendar which can display there restrictions and enable to manage them.

Be able to do a Room Move with a closed bill
We need to be able to move one guest from one room/bed to another one and to edit the reservation even if the account is closed.

Thank you for your feedback. It is currently possible to move a reservation from one to another both for cases when a bill is closed as well as cases where the reservation has been checked out.
In order to use this functionality, please ensure that the reservation is unlocked. The date range for which you can edit this infromation depends on the editable history window for your property. You can learn more about the editable history window in this guide.

We are very happy to announce that you are now able to distinguish between children and adults in reports!
Updates for the reservation overview are currently in the final stages of development and will be released very soon.

Fix Dates on Mews Excel Reports
At the moment in Mews Excel reports the dates contain a character in front of them therefore they can not be used in combination with any extended and formulated self made excel reports. For instance HLOOKUP will not find the date on Mews reports due to above. This is important for proper ARR data on daily basis between segments as at the moment the only way to do this is to average the rates however this dilutes them. All Mews has to do is remove any characters from the dates on the reports.

Thank you for the feedback.
We are very happy to inform you that it is possible to print empty registration cards.
The feature can be set up from your registration card configuration settings. Under the “Options” menu, select “Print based on person count”. When this setting is enabled, you will be able to print an additional blank registration card for all reservations where companion details have not yet been completed.

Mobile push notifications for new tasks
When a task is assigned to a user or department, no notification is received on the mobile app.
The user must visit the Task section in the mobile app to see if any tasks have been assigned to them.
Push notification to the user to alert them of the new task would help the user be aware of the new task.
A little Red bubble showing new tasks over the task menu would also help.

Add field in reservation screen to add booking reference no.
Currently the only area to add a booking reference (OTA or other) is in the notes field. This should be a field within the reservation screen that can then be used to locate a reservation.
This is especially important where multiple reservations are received on the one booking file but are for a different party within that reservation..maybe with same surname but different dates of stay.

Highlight or post a result of in-house guest on top of search bar
When searching for a guest in the search bar, it would be nice if the guest with that name that is already in house would appear on top, instead of scrolling through the list to find the guest that is in front of you.

Send messages from Mews Commander app
At the moment it is not possible to send messages from the Mews Commander app only receive them. It would be a quick and useful tool for the Mewsers e.g. to communicate from HK to FO.

Issues with creating invoices and with the booking for other people integration
As promised here is the video with the 2 issues that our reception team will be delighted with if they are improved :)
The first one: when creating invoices, see timecode 1:17, Pam needs to highlight and copy the booking reference number from that booking on the dashboard tab for that booking, she then needs to go to the billing tab and manually paste the number so then the invoice can be generated for the customer. Now imagine having to do this for every single booking every day. On friday she will need to do this over 120 times, this…

Restrictions management filters
Currently restriction filters reset when deleting a restriction which makes using the system very annoying. Filters should be kept when deleting restrictions.

Features in commander app
For our housekeeping we would like to have the space category and the features shown per room in the app. This way they can see for example if a room has a twin or a double bed.
