Rate url
Would it be useful if it was possible to generate a direct booking url for each rate you create.
This will enable you to link your promotions directly to the Booking Engine.
It will also allow you to provide your corporate clients with a link directly to their rate, as a supplement to the rate access voucher

bug with vouchers / rates
we seem to have an issue suddenly when creating a booking where the voucher rates are not displayed when attaching a company. this company has not got a voucher attached and if we leave the company blank, the correct voucher rates will display and are bookable.
this never happened before, so it looks like something has gone wrong in the last couple of hours.

inclusive packaged rates
Where one has rates setup and sold inclusive of the the package e.g. Breakfast, @ R1500.00 single or double inclusive of breakfast. In MEWS rate setup it is required to set a negative occupant adjustment for the value of the breakfast in order to correctly quote the rate for the single room booking @ R1500.00
Where you have derived rates, one normally sets the rate up against the base rate with its relative % adjustment. e.g. -10%, however as the base rate has the negative occupant adjustment for the breakfast to too is discounted on the single rate published. Therefore…

Absorb products
Other PMS systems I have used have "absorbed" products in the Rate.
For example you have a rate of £150 , part of this is £10 breakfast.
Currently in Mews if you change the price of breakfast , you then need to change all your rates separately which is time consuming.
It also means that if you have 342 rate, the 33% deduction only comes from the accommodation value and does not take into consideration the products.
If you change the price of a product it would be great if the value of the accommodation would also change automatically .3 votes -
Vouchers feature factually being able to be limited to only be used certain nights stayed.
Vouchers feature factually being able to be limited to only be used certain nights stayed (discounted events/corporates/groups). Vouchers are currently merely limited to be bought certain days. With this new feature we would avoid risk of subsequent guest Voucher misuse for other nights than the event/campaign period and/or a maze of Restrictions.

Consume item on check in
Under the Items tab in a reservation where products can be added, such as Pet-friendly room, extra bed etc. ( Products of course depends on your local set-up of products), certain products require a date of consumption. A button or checkbox for such one time items/products that links date of consumption to check in time would be really handy!

Splitting reservations should not increase pick up
When splitting a booking, it creates a new booking, and pick ups in any RMS. Please don't consider a booking as a new received booking, as it false pick up and data.

Pricing whole year at once
it would be really practical if we were able to set pricing/rates for the whole year instead of having to select a period of only a few weeks. Would save a lot of time.
Right now mews only accepts the pricing for the initially selected period, regardless of the dates chosen in the smaller pricing tab.3 votesHello from the Mews product team. Minimum Price for Space Categories
Currently, it's unfortunately not possible to set a minimum price for a space / room category.
However, this would be very helpful if you have a set of rates that derive its price from another rate (called "base rate" in Mews).
Let's look at the following example: To create better long-stay rates, I created 16 rates. For every two days a guest stays longer, the guest will receive a (small) discount for the whole stay.
So, the rate is always derived from another (base) rate. I would like to be able to set a minimum price on a space category…

Add amenities to room category
Mews lists amenities on the individual room level.
It makes more sense to list amenities on the room category level so that all rooms within a specific category come with a set of amenities.

Lock Top & Left headers, provide easier right/left scrolling
I selected rate management, but this occurs in so many places, reports, availability, reservations rate screen, etc.
Please lock the top and left headers on any screen that has up/down right/left scrolling available.
Position the scroll bar directly under the locked top header for easier navigation and indication there is more information off screen. The scroll bar is at the bottom of the page, and nothing is locked at the top or right of the page, so when you have to scroll right you completely lose all headers. It becomes very tedious to have to guess where to land, then…

Rate Cap or Rate Threshold for derived rate
Allow for a 'rate cap' or 'maximum threshold' for space categories that are derived by a percentage increase off the base rate.
For example: a space category that decreases 20% off base rate would not be allowed to reach below $.xx or above $.xx

Rate StrikeOut
When we have a promotionnal rate derived from another rate group
The strikeout price is the most expansive price of the same rate group.
But the rate can be derived from a rate code that is in another rate group.
When we apply the discount on this base rate, to have the derived rate, the striked-out rate should be the one used for the derivation instead of the most expansive of the group.3 votesHello all,

multi item posting
Create multi-item postings to make upselling easier. Think of Valentine package with chocolates and a bottle of wine.
Currently we need to create 2 items for different VAT calculations. It would make life a lot easier if we could make 1 item Valentine Package with an automated split per bucket.

Airline style rates scheme - base price (non-refundable) + insurance
The idea has been already verified in other areas, such as airlines or cruises. All rates would be non-refunduble by default. On top of each rate, the guest could purchase an additional product (something like an “insurance”) that would make the rate refundable; however, the “insurance” itself would not be refundable.
There could be more levels of “insurance” - e.g. “cancel up to 1 week prior to the arrival” and “cancel anytime”. The second option in this case should be obviously more pricey.
Generally speaking, the price of the “insurance” should always cover the costs of maintaining the empty room…

Product limit
Two customer scenarios highlight gaps in the current product setup:
Per-person products/fees (e.g., spa/massage): For spaces that accommodate multiple guests (e.g., a villa for 12), only some may use a service (e.g., 4 guests want a spa). Currently, there’s no way to select a quantity per product for partial occupancy.
Pet fees: Customers want to charge per pet (e.g., $30 per dog) and allow multiple pets to be added. Currently, the only workaround is creating separate products for each pet count (e.g., “Pet Fee – 1 dog” $30, “Pet Fee – 2 dogs” $60), which is cumbersome.
Request: Add flexibility…
