When changing the dates of a reservation, in my opinion, there is a step missing where Mews confirms if there is availability for the same type of room and informs the new price (to be accepted or not).

Add Operator Check in Statistic to Reservations widget on Mews Dashboard
Mews does not provide the number of check-ins completed using the Mews Operator, In the reservations tile on the Mews dashboard a number of statistics are displayed in a widget. It would beneficial to add the number of Operator / kiosk check-ins to this widget

Add vouchers as a field to reservations
Add a field onto the reservation to enter a free format travel agent voucher number issued for billing purposes and to be able to print this voucher number onto the guest bill. This as we need to issue invoices for TMC's that include the voucher number to be approved for payments.
We electronically transfer the data via the API for all these invoiced bill directly to the TMC's for them to electronically process via their OCR system to issue payments. Using billing notes, users to tend to add additional information causing the process to fail.

RATES visibility for internal use
When restrictions are in place (for example: minimal stay 2 nights) the internal user CANNOT see the rate on those given days. In fact when restrictions are in place the hotelier cannot see any of the rates. So when there is a WALK IN or a request the hotelier is flying blind. Therefore: even when restrictions are in place there should be an option that hoteliers or certain users can still see the rates of that day.

Notification of optional reservation confirmation
If we make an optional reservation for our guests and send them our offer. The guests confirm the reservations through the link but the responsible employee/department do not get any information or notification, so it is problematic to keep track of these bookings. It would be great to get atleast a pop up notification if the guests confirm there reservations. This information is essential for internal planning for almost every property.

Blackground colours in Room Numbers
Option to put different colours in blackground of the Room Numbers.
Notes of Status of the Room. For example:101 in red means that "cot for baby inside the room"

Automatic Room Upgrades Based on Availability
Would be great if the system could automatically upgrade certain reservations to a higher room category under certain availability circumstance (that could be defined and edited).
ie: If lesser room category is at 100% occupancy, the system would automatically upgrade some reservation to the higher room category, freeing up the lower category to be sold again.

Space Category Ordering
Some categories we have are on the same level of ordering (or there is no exact ordering) which is tricky to manage in Mews as there always has to be an orden. E.g. in case of a room move to a different category (on the same level) it would actually not be an "upgrade" or "downgrade". Which makes it hard with the setup of a diffusive strategy

Adjusting confirmations manually
Is it possible to make an 'add' option to a confirmation? As an example, people who book a specific room (no room type) and don't see that reflected on the confirmation. You can't mention this anywhere yourself on a confirmation. Examples such as a specific room number, beds apart or room at the front.

Minimalize a reservation
Option to minimalize a reservation (for example keep it in the right bottom of the timeline). It could allow you to continue with other tasks and than later on get back to the reservation/booking that you were working on. It could also be a reminder for yourself that you need to follow up on that certain reservation.

Display only vacant inspected spaces for assignment
"In case a guest would like to be assigned a different room for their stay, it is easily changeable through the State tab of the reservation module. Using the assign drop-down, all rooms are visible. However, to improve the user experience, this list of spaces could be reduced to display only inspected and vacant rooms, making alternate space selection faster and easier."

being able to split a booking when not checked in yet
we sometimes deal with an existing booking wishing to change unit types during their stay. even though they haven't checked in yet, it would be much easier if we were able to split the booking (and thus keeping all the notes) rather than having to duplicate the booking, copying the notes, adjust the dates, rates, etc..

Tasks - Add Customisable Templates
When setting a task, everything needs to be typed, whereas a lot of time could be saved if the hotel could customise a list of templates to use.
For example, 'Deliver Amenity' or 'Unzip Beds'. Quick little things like these!

Add total occupancy for each day at the bottom of the Timeline so we can quickly see how many people are staying. Wouldnt need to click around with reports if it just did a simple totalling sum, the old Hotel Perfect had that and was extreemly useful.

Select multiple features for the timeline filter
We're very happy with the new timeline feature filter! An improvement in our eyes would be if it also were possible to select multiple features and that the filter shows all the rooms which have one of the selected features. At the moment the filters only shows rooms which have all the selected features.

Rate Code management
We should be able to filter rate codes as expired to not take up space in the rate code screen, but activate them again if needed. This way the system can stay clean and tidy. Especially since you don't have a search feature.
