  1. When a group booking is created for lets say 10 rooms, you will get 10 notifications for new bookings.
    It would be very helpful if you could send only one notification "new groupbooking 10 rooms" via the little bell symbol.

  2. When we upload a Group rooming list, at the moment even if all rooms are single rooms the uploaded names will land in the system as Companion. In this way we cannot see the names of the guests staying in the rooms when we look at the timeline for example. It will show the names that the group was picked up under and since we don't always have the rooming list by the time we actually pickup the rooms we use for instance the group name and all rooms will show the Group name as such.   3. Often we get attendees that make reservations outside of the group block, usually by human error. It would be ideal if we can edit the rate code or change their rate to a group rate block and then, after changing the code, it automatically changes the room rate to match the group rate, applies the group routing rules, group product rules. I have seen this is all our previous PMS systems, I am confused why its not an option.

  4. We have a bunch of big groups coming which all have the same task set up, for different departments (e.g. housekeeping and reception). It would be great to be able to make the same task once for the whole group, instead of doing 30-40 tasks individually. The same would go for if we need to make the same task for multiply departments, it would make it easier to just choose the corresponding departments.

  5. When multiple reservations are selected within the group, users can easily make changes on the "Properties" tab or lock unlocking reservations and there are no warnings given.

    It would be great if there is a small warning saying that the change will be applied to all the selected reservations.

  6. We would like a function where we could download a PDF confirmation letter for guests that are a part of a group block that doesn't have any links or anything in it. Just simply information about their stay: name, date of arrival/departure, room category, rate etc.

  7. Be able to personalize the package and value of the product in a block of availability
    The customer want to customize the price of the product per group.
    The value of the meals are negotiated per group

  8. Excel rooming list must have a country field.
    For statistics we need to fill in the country (not Nationality) in the customers profile. With large business groups it is easier, to fill this in the Excel rooming list, than to open every customers profile.

  9. Excel rooming list must have telephone number field.
    Guest receives a text message by arrival with door code and room number. When the group is 50 people, it is important to be able to load the phone number in rooming list.

  10. It should be possible to remove a guest from a group.
    Cancelation and rebooking is not a logical process. The canceled booking stays forever in the group, doesn´t it?

    Shouldn´t be to hard to develop. ;-)

Groups that are currently taking inventory and are contracted but do not have reservations picked up yet, are not being counted as "Sold Rooms" nor is the contracted revenue being accounted for anywhere. The Availability and Occupancy Report shows the group rooms under Confirmed or Optional but ultimately still shows that group inventory under "Free Spaces". Would be useful to see total expected group revenue per group, and for that revenue to be accounted for in the Manager Report.

It would be good if when we enter on a certain customer who has a group booking - to see bookings sorted by groups on the dashboard instead of all the rooms that guests booked for all the upcoming dates - when we have groups sorted on the dashboard then we can choose the group and enter to see all the rooms listed.

  14. It is not possible to use dynamic rates for availability blocks, only set rates. As some groups or crews have dynamic agreements, this means the hotel can’t set the correct rate for them.

    Since Mews now will work on groups with different release dates etc. (“allotment”) will it be considered to also look into dynamic pricing from availability blocks?

  15. Currently, you are unable to extend an availability reservation without adjusting the block itself, or making a new reservation then locking it into the same room. Being able to manually extend a room block reservation behind negotiated day's and rates within the block would be excellent so the guest maintains one reservation throughout their stay.

  17. Creating a button where you can easily mark if a group can be invoiced on 1 bill - or if the rooms in the group will pay all separately. Right now all items of all bills have to be moved individually to 1 main bill. Having a button to make these changes with 1 click would save a lot of time!

  18. Booker sends in a rooming list - this should be able to be uploaded to the block so each room is picked up and a reservation is made to the correct room type

    Also to be able to pull rooming list in a nice format with our exporting unnecessary information. Wedding are always asking for a list of names and dates of who booked in their group

  19. Group confirmation should have a more simple overview, one line per space category and per single/double use. Each line should have the folloring "tabs"/information: number of rooms, unit price, total pris, VAT. Group bookers asks for a simple overview and not 120 lines for each room.
    This confirmation should be generated in a PDF file and in vertical format.

  20. To be able to assign spaces as correct as possible for a group, there should be an option for feature requests in the availability block. So when you pick up the reservation from the block, it is auto-assigned to the correct space feature. Example: all crew want to have quiet rooms, or all wedding guests should have a sea view. This will be more efficient for the front desk that doesn't have to double check and re-assign spaces, and to make sure the guests get what is ordered without the possibility of human errors.
