Property Operations and PMS: this is the forum for posting your ideas and comments on all aspects of hotel operations, from reservations to events to metrics and reports.   1. All departments use different reports and different functions, it would be ideal and save time, if we were able to pin the reports that each person uses or functions to the home screen for each property.

    The advantage is that you can save time going through several drop down menus. as an example I use the Merchant Balance everyday and have to use go through the drop down menu every time.

  4. In case of a fire event, it would be beneficial to have ability to open in house report from your phone on the Mobile App, especially if reception is the place that is on fire.
    Having to always print it from PC is not the most convenient.

  5. It would be great to have reports scheduled via email so that we can monitor multiple properties production / res made yesterday / manager flash via pdf quickly on an email instead of running each single report

  6. It should be possible to get a full data export of all guest profiles existing in Mews. Having multiple properties sharing 1 guest database, I do not want to use/create reports per hotel/per period. That is time consuming and report data is limited. I just need 1 data dump with all guest profiles.

  7. Hi,

    Even though we can name the schedule, we receive the report with its standard name: Accounting Report - Reservation Report....
    This creates confusion as we use the same report with different filters every day, but both are named the same...
    Could it be arranged that the report (excel sheet) inherits the name of the schedule?

  8. I would like a report that can show me; arrival date, lead time for the arrival date with either a travel agent profile, company or source for the booking and rate for the booking could be rate code. This report should be possible to pull for a year, month per day. I know I can use reservation report, but I still need to put it in a excel sheet and then make my own pivo.

  9. The Reservation Report shows 0 EU/SEK/NOK in Rate if a reservation is prepaid. This makes it harder to calculate reservation amounts in an exported version of the Reservation Report. The Rate should not be 0 no matter if the reservation is paid or not.

  11. Hi, we would love to get automatic printed out the fire reports at 3 different time periods during the day (07:00AM, 14:00PM, 22:00PM). Today, we need to print out manually. Great if you can check up this opportunity.

  12. It would be good to have an easier way of seeing the Average Monthly rate per Rate Category. Now, in occupancy report you can only see an average rate of all rates that property has.
    We would like to see Average rate of rooms sold per selected Rate category.

  13. Please add the option to choose multiple Services within reports (e.g. Reservation Report), the dashboard and the timeline.

    If we add a service for nightly billing and one for monthly billing, both should be equally add up as arrivals and being reflected on an arrival report.

    For the dashboard, maybe we can have at least the possibility to select services that should be shown together on one dashboard. (Arrivals, departures, tasks)

    For the timeline, it is not very helpful that reservations for other services are visible but it is shown with the name of the service instead of the guests…

  14. It is essential for us to track which rooms are performing well in terms of mini/maxi bar sales, as our hotel offers different collections in the mini/maxi bars across various rooms. Therefore, we need a report detailing mini/maxi bar consumption by room number.

  15. Right now, there are so many details in the exported payment report in the excel file, but the mandatory refund reason is not there. It would be very helpful for us if it shows it in there as well when going through all the refunds.

  16. We really enjoy the ability to cancel products from billing and cancel orders from the guest dashboard, but there currently doesn't exist a way to audit cancelled products/items by cancellation date. We are able to filter by creation date of the product, but that makes it hard to track items created several months ago that may have been cancelled in the last week, for example.

  17. Hoteliers like to track the success of the rates per month and currently, to do that is to run the reservation report with a specific rate selected and to run it in "Total" mode month by month.

    Manager report has a lot of potential for improvement to make it more useful for the hoteliers.

  18. Add to the current list of Interval option of a Continuous 7 days that begins the report at "Current Day 00:00 to +7 days at 00:00"

    This would allow a daily export of product services sold to show any 7 days out at all times and would also include any late changes that happen for last minute bookings with a cancellation period, add-ons over the phone, and so forth.   19. We use the restrictions a lot at our property. We need a way to see restrictions in relation to the availability and occupancy. I'd like to see restrictions added to the calendar view of the avail and occ reports.

  20. Beyond the availability of filters, or as incremental filter functionality, users should be enabled to remove data columns from report when the data in the column is irrelevant to the property or the user. My hotel doesn't track data by bed but this information takes up space in a report for columns with zeros. When I deselect filter options, the column still shows in the report with zeros. Like standard Excel spreadsheets, it should be possible to drop/drag columns within the report and remove columns so print attempts don't generate unusable reports.
