  2. The Mews guests in house report is an extremely useful tool to check all customer data for guests that are currently in house. This snapshot of customer data can help managers quickly gather important details, although some additional fields could be helpful for guest analysis as well. For example, customer classifications and customer nationality details could both provide further valuable insight for quick data analysis of customers.

  3. Hi There, Many hotels are struggeling daily with excel sheet to keep track of their "gift vouchers", would be nice if we can implement this into Mews. Ideally with; Number/code, value, expiry date.

  5. In addition to fixed price adjustment, many properties would prefer to use a relative adjustment field, which would be used to adjust prices based on extra or empty beds. This setting could allow revenue managers more flexibility as they decide on pricing for each space or space category, particularly in case the number of guests does not exactly match the number of beds in the chosen space type.

Therefore,for clarification, adding photos to your Space Status report could help all departments communicate more efficiently, as you can report problems more accurately using visual cues.

  18. The Mews Reservation report is one of the most flexible reports in the system, considering the number of items available for data comparison. While the report is in 'Totals' mode, the addition of a column for 'average length of stay' could provide another very useful criteria for future evaluation and planning.

  19. The timeline simple detail is a great snapshot of reservation data, especially if you just need a brief overview to check something. However, this simple detail could be expanded to include some other important details or functionality, such as a summary for group bookings or a quick-edit feature to make changes or add notes.

  20. As there may be many tasks created for your property, they can be difficult to keep track of when managing many aspects of your operations. For this reason, passing task deadlines should generate a notification for the task creator or any department members to which the task is assigned. After being sent, these pending notifications would only be dismissed when the task is fully completed. This implemented feature could help all members of your team stay more on schedule and would encourage task completion in line with all assigned deadlines.
