    Hi Mewsers,
    if you have online check-out enabled, guests receive the copy of their bill to their mailbox right after they finish online check-out. (they receive only copy of the bill which was closed by guest during the online. check-out.).

    Other bills closed via Commander are not being sent automatically to the guest yet.

  2. It would send me every day the information which clients would enter the next day

    It would be great if every day at 10:00 it could send me the entries for the next day containing the following info: 1. number of reservation, 2 which agency,3 last name and name of the cliente, 4. date of entry, date of departure, 5. how many nights the client is staying, 6. how many people are staying 7. apartment type reserved, apartment type given 8 apartment type, 9. tarifa, 10. products, 11, clients cost total, if they have left credit card info (yes or…

  3. There's a current "spent night report" which you can filer by segments, but it only gives you the occupation. It would be nice to know how much each segment produced, and to be able to filter that with/without commissions and with/without taxes.

    Hello Mewsers!

    Thank you for your continued feedback and suggestions.

    We are happy to inform you that tentative, or as we’ve called them “Inquired” reservations are available in Mews Commander.

    You can create reservations with the Inquired state from the third step of the new reservations screen by selecting the “Status” dropdown and clicking “Inquiry”.

    Inquired reservations do not take spaces out of inventory, you can, however update the status of the reservations to either optional, confirmed or cancelled. Updating the status of a reservation to confirmed or optional will assign a room for your chosen reservation.

    In addition to the above inquired reservations can also be created with a release date.

    Thank you for sharing your feedback with us.

    We are happy to inform you that we have added the ability to access the billing screen directly from the timeline.

    In order to make use of this functionality all you need to do is select a reservation from the timeline, from there you will see the billing icon in the side menu. Selecting this icon will open the billing screen as shown in the attached image.

  7. The Mews Manager report is a one-stop-shop for a lot of crucial operational data. With the addition of an occupancy forecast for the upcoming weeks or months, this report could become even more useful for planning and revenue management.

  9. As promised here is the video with the 2 issues that our reception team will be delighted with if they are improved :)

    The first one: when creating invoices, see timecode 1:17, Pam needs to highlight and copy the booking reference number from that booking on the dashboard tab for that booking, she then needs to go to the billing tab and manually paste the number so then the invoice can be generated for the customer.     Hello Mewsers,

    Thank you for the feedback and suggestions, we are very happy to inform you that the space status report allows you to filter by alternate reservation states.

    You can choose whether you would like to view reservations that have been confirmed (definite reservations) , reservations that are currently optional or both! Simply select the “status” filter in the reservations report and apply the changes that you would like to view.

  15. Sometimes, staff is not made aware when a booking may be modified, which is frustrating as they may be forced to check their email more often than they would like. To help keep everyone informed, the system could automatically create tasks when a booking is modified to be processed by staff as they are received.

Groups configuration We need to have Group blocks i.e. *When we assign a booking code to a group booking, and the clients will reserve the rooms in the IBE, the PMS should understand that the room reserved need to be picked up from the block.     We are very happy to announce that we are beginning to work on adding group block functionality to Mews. If you have an integrated system you can begin making use of block functionality through the Connector API.

    Over the coming months we will begin adding block functionality to the PMS. If you are interested in learning more, and if you would like to share your feedback on our current prototypes, please let me know in the comments section or by responding to this email.
