  2. Currently, you can distinguish reservations on Timeline by once that are checked-in or not. However, with this feature, you will have a better visual difference between departures, arrivals and more.

  3. As a group reservations agent I often handle requests for large group reservations of 50 + guests. Many of these request come from business, travel agents or private tour groups. I generally have a single point of contact from the time reservations are made to the final confirmation prior to arrival.

    Between the booking and confirmation process I often have to make several alterations to the reservation, which can consists of anything from adding/ removing guests to moving guests to different rooms. Many of the communications I have with clients (bookers/reservation owners) are done via email where I often share…

    Select a reservation and head over to the “Group” tab to start testing the feature. If you would like to know more, follow the link below to the release notes page where you will be able to see a snapshot of where you can find the feature.

  4. In Italy we are facing the issue, that each invoice has to be print out on a specific invpice paper and only one time. So the night receptionists have to keep track of all the bills closed on one day which they do by using the bill and invoices report. It would be even more helpful to have an extra column added with the amount of prints so that they don't have to click in each bill.

  5. When cancelling a product from Orders, the status changes to cancelled, however, no reason is provided.
    It is confusing for a reception as they might not understand why some items were cancelled.

  6. As housekeeping complete their daily tasks, they often add special items to prepare for arriving guests. For this reason, it's very important that housekeeping staff is up to date on any notes or special instructions that come along with each assignment. Adding customer notes within the Commander application could provide much needed insight, so your staff will always be informed of important facts and ready to welcome your guests properly.

    Hello Mewsers,

    We are very happy to announce that you are now able to view reservation notes in the Mews mobile app.

    In order to view notes, select a reservation in the Mews web application > and add a note from the properties tab. Once the note has been saved, you will be able to view the note in the space details section of the Mews mobile app.

  8. Delay or even cancel the pop-ups on Occupancy and Availability screens. They are incredibaly anoying when you are trying to look at data, and they constantly pop-up or down above, below when you hoover over your availability and occupancy screen.

    Please make sure there is a small delay, i.e. when you stopt for 0,5 seconds that it pops up.

    We are currently migrating from the old Occupancy and Availability screen to a new version that does not use pop -ups. As such, this request has been marked as unlikely to be developed.

  9. Would be great to base automatization not only on the rate groups. For example city tax can not be excluded from booking.com collect reservations, but are from booking.com hotel collect ones. This way it would be possible to create different rules for them.

  12. Currently, when creating a product under Services, the details of the stay will appear on the bill. With making this possible, the product created under Services will appear on bills as well.

  14. In many countries, there are multiple official languages, meaning that nationality cannot reliably be used to determine a guest's preferred language for communication. A field for default communication language could then be added to customer profile to ensure consistency in all correspondence and also to prevent guests from receiving messages that they don't understand.

  19. Tasks are very helpful to track daily responsibilities in Mews. However as many tasks are recurring, it could be helpful to eliminate that manual work and add a repeating tag to allow automatic repetition of those particular assignments on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis.

  20. Customer classifications tell you if someone has stayed before but it would be great to easily how many times customers have stayed.

    This could be used to send custom emails, voucher codes and other loyalty rewards. It's also useful to export a specific list for things like birthday and holiday cards.
