  1. It would be great to be able to reorder product lists (and other lists) in Services by drag and drop.
    Now, if you need to reorder a list of products, you have to go into each product and give it a number from 0+
    It is time consuming and overly complicated.

  2. The Manager Report ran by Accounting category adds up inventory from different spaces. But when we create a Stay space and a Day Use space, it multiplies our inventory, although it's linked to the same exact rooms. Therefore, occupancy is always incorrect. For example, my property has 24 rooms, but because I linked each room to both Stay and Day Use, the report states 48 rooms and occupancy is incorrect. The system should understand that because it's linked to the same rooms, it should not multiply inventory.

  3. Change the name of out of service, out of service means can't be used in real terms but in mews means still for sale. Doesn't make any sense and too similar to out of order, both mean the same thing. Out of service should say minimal maintenance

  5. Sometimes rooms are added to a group that do not appear to belong together, or an error occurs and a room is added to a group.

    It would be practical if you could remove rooms from a group. Currently, this is not possible.

  6. The Availability block report (i.e. once exported to Excel) only outlines the blocks that are in place however it would be great to include further details such as how many rooms are held in each block.

  7. It would be great to have events shown on timeline to also reflect in the housekeeping app so that housekeeping staff are aware of events so they can set rooms up accordingly.

  8. Some OTAs allow the customer to change Onsite payment to Online Prepaid reservation up until the check in.
    Currently the routing rules do not trigger when the payment option updates.

    We would appreciate if the routing rules trigger when the payment updates into "Online Prepaid" so that we do not accidentally charge the guest twice.

  10. Since Mews is doing such great work with bookable services. It would be great to be able to use a {bookable service} placeholder in the email templates.

  11. Currently when there is a task i.e. saying a payment request was missed, one has to copy paste the name of the guest to search for the actual payment request. A direct link would be better

  13. When help is needed in the operation with stripping rooms, the ability to print a VD list, or VC, VI, OOO, & OOS.
    This is basic hotel 101 operation when many employees are involved.

    Ex: houseperson going to take trash from VD rooms, Operations manager going to strip rooms of dirty linens. We all want to be on the same page and not be confused of who went where or who didn't go into a room.

  14. When looking for a name in the search bar, the results are shown in alphabetical order. It would be way more convenient if the client profiles where sorted by closest reservation in time.
    That way, when typing "Smith", you'll first get Mr Smith that has a reservation tomorrow or Mr Smith that just left last week-end and not Adam Smith from 4 years ago.

  17. There are some legal environments where the threshold tax applies. It means that if the rate of the stay is below a specific amount (e.g. $50/night), the occupancy tax doesn't apply.

    The tax logic in Mews doesn't support it which prevents hostels to use Mews in regions like San Francisco or British Columbia.

    The tax logic should treat nights above and below certain price range differently.

    Out of order: dark gray
    Future stay: less dark gray
    checked out: light gray

    Why???

    Departures: light blue
    People checking in: light blue
