  1. Frequently a guest may be searching for a one night stay and if no one night stay options are available for room the default response in Mews is "the room is not available". It would be more accurate to respond that "the room is only available for 2-nights, 3-nights, etc" The guest would at least know there is option to stay if they opt for more nights but the current default response implies that there is no availability and if they had known there was option for multiple nights it is possible they would book the room.

  2. We don't have 24 hour reception so it would be helpful if, when reception closes, we can put a restriction / stopsell on the remaining rooms so no one can book them after hours

    We are currently adding a Restriction with the start date and end date being the same to get around this issue
    Blocking multiple rooms is also time consuming and alters management reports

    As great as Mews is, I've used 6 other PMS and this is the first one to not have a feature similar to this

  3. Bonjour, serait-il possible d'avoir une icône "parking" sur le profil du client dans le calendrier pour rapidement voir combien nous avons de lésa parking ?
    En effet, à ce jour, la gestion sur MEWS du parking n'est pas du tout lisible et pratique... Merci d'avance pour votre retour. Lucas

  4. At this moment, it is not possible to send one confirmation to the guest/company that includes both hotel rooms and meeting rooms as they are two different bookable services.

    It would be great if one confirmation can be send that includes hotel rooms and meeting rooms.

When an inhouse guest must move rooms for whatever reason such as extended stay or change due to category capacity or to another catagory that Mews is able to see this and combine the entire stay into one booking for our registration cards. So that we have a complete record of where the guest will be in house during their stay. At the moment we must print seperate registration cards for each invividual room.

  6. possibility to add a pop up alert on check out screen for very important notes for example :
    routing instructions, billing instructions, etc.

  7. Is there a way to move one or more bookings from one group to either a new one or another already excising group?
    merge doesn't work as it somehow moves ALL the group bookings even if you only have ticked those that you need to move.
    if not possible, could it be made possible please as sometimes you add a booking by mistake and now you need to cancel it and make again. if the guest is already in-house, that is of course not an option!

  8. It is a real shame, that in your support email replies you cannot include at the bottom the initial requests which shows a detailed explanation of the issue submitted.
    So one has to always dig back to find out what one originally said in a previous email. With several tickets open this can get really confusing.
    I would highly recommend you change your system, so the full history of conversations is always on ONE ticket, including the original request.

  9. We look for a report which lists reservations, that were checked-out with unbalanced bills.
    Few days ago, we checked-out a group, but forgot to issue the invoice the very same day and only realized this now. To make sure this has not happened before, we want to search for reservations, that are in the past but not paid or invoiced yet.

    Hi, thank you for your vote for this suggestion. In fact, this is already possible to see within Mews.


    Please navigate to the "Guests in house" report, which is available on the homepage dashboard, in the upper right corner under "Customers".


    Ensure that under Status, "Checked out" is selected, and that under Display options, "Balance" is selected. By selected your date range you should be able to view reservations which have been checked out but still have open balances remaining.

  10. Duplicated reservations currently needs manual removal, to create automation to allow for bulk deletion of duplicated reservations.

  11. Currently there is no ROB (Rooms On the Books) report available in mews. According to the support, the reservations report could be used. However, this report can in no way be used to make forecasting or analyses due to the terrible lay-out.

    So please provide a proper ROB-report as this is the standard in the hospitality.

  12. A better and quicker way to name the group different from the booker. Now it is a mess to get it changed properly. It is always switching and the group name cannot be different as the booker of the group on an easy way.

  13. Often when guest book in advance we have to search all over the calendar which room are overbooked. When this happen, instead of spending time searching between 2 years, Mews could simply show which dates are overbooked so we could access it straight away

  14. There is a need to send customizable pre-arrival emails, based off of pre-written templates that are specific to the guest's room type. A couple of different template options, and the ability to customize the message before sending it. That's what we need, desperately.

    Thanks for the submission. We have a direct integration with booking.com, and are considering some of the other major channels as well. However this is very time consuming in both development as well as maintenance. It is currently unlikely we'll be able to fully cover channel management like the channel managers today can. 

  17. add rolling releases to availability blocks so FIT allotments can be managed, e.g. 7 days prior to arrival.

  18. Show Products that are priced as a package in the confitmation mails or give the option to choose in the product setting wether a product should be displayed in the mails and shown to the customer or not.

  20. It is a great feature that we can set dynamic pricing but on the product overview screen there is no indication that a price has been overridden, making this impossible to track and monitor.
