  1. When entering companions, new and existing customers should be able to be entered in the same field. The first field should search for existing profile and offer the option "News costumer" (as it works well in the main search field).

  2. Pure QOL improvement:
    Uploading scanned Data sheets into guest profiles is just possible for 1 file at a time right now. Since it's 5 clicks to upload 1 file this becomes pretty quick a nuisance if you have to upload dozens or hundreds of different files but multiple for each guest. A simple windows-style shift/strg option to chose all necessary files at once would come in pretty handy.

    Thank you for the feedback.

    It is currently possible to customise email templates per space category, by adding information in the free text field “Order email template” within your space category settings. The text will be added automatically at the bottom of the confirmation email when a guest books a reservation for that space category.

    We do not currently have this feature for registration cards. We’ve updated your idea as one to be upvoted by the Mews Community.

  5. in the reservationo verzicht you see, after the adjustment of the way of showing the tourist tax, now every day a new post of the tourist tax. This is not a problem with a short stay. but if a guest stays for 3 months it becomes a very long list and not really clear anymore.

  7. When selecting "Permit of residence" the system should allow to use different nationalities for the guest, ex. one Argentinian living in Spain.

  9. This is to have the team adjust the Mews scanner to default to Ms instead of Mrs when scanning passports of female guests (as most guests are Ms, to save time doing data entry)

  10. It is very important for chains to be able to have a common database for all the hotels. Customer profiles should be shared between properties as guests are loyal to the brand and stay in different property in the same group.
    With Mews, a new profile has to be created every time in each property

    Since the new update you have to scroll down to see the whole information and this is not helpful is it possible to request to change it back that when a Task is created and also Note we can see the whole information as previously

    Yes, those fields are not as usable now – we have raised this as an issue for the development team and expect it to be fixed in the near future.

  12. A report which sums up the total spending per guest would be useful for loyalty programs. At this point it's only possible to see a total spending by checking profile per profile.

  14. In order to have an immediate comparison on both of the names (reservation and CC cardholder) that would allow the perception of eventual discrepancies and/or fraud tentative that could cause Charge-backs.

  15. It would be helpful to add a field with calendar format to register guest date arrival into the country. At least in southamerica we need to know how many days a pax is staying in the country since arrival for tax requirements in order to have correct payments amounts.

    Otherwise, costumizable fields for guest profile with formats (calendar, open field, others).

  16. Would it be possible with the messaging function to have all the messages automatically attached to clients profile?

    Example: A receptionist is chatting with an arriving customer, but finishes his shift before this client arrives, another receptionist may not know/ check the read messages. It would be easier for the staff to have all guest messages attached to their profile.

    We are very happy to inform you that we have released functionality that will allow you to drag and drop files directly to profiles within the profiles tab.

  18. Concerning the release note from 8. October 19 "Tailor space assignment to your guests' needs". It would be great if we can use our own created space feature. This fits better to our individual hotel facilities than the MEWS template.

  19. Would love a function where I can setup rules to change the segments on a reservation, rules that are defined by ratecode/rategroup/arrivalday of the week/number of guests staying.

  20. WHY TO WE NEED TO MANUALLY ADD THE GUEST IN THEIR RESERVATION?

    IF THE GUEST MAKES AN ONLINE OR AN WALK IN RESERVATION FOR MORE THAN 1 ROOM WE NEED TO GROUP IT MANUALLY INTO EXISTING CUSTOMER??

    IF THE GUEST HAS MADE TWO RESERVATION FOR THE SAME DAY THE SYSTEM SHOULD ADD THE GUEST BY IT SELF.
