  1. When you're creating a new reservation inside a guest reservation/group (extension) you'll have to add, again, the guest profile. It would be way easier and faster if the guest profile was added automatically by default.

    We are happy to inform you that adding an additional reservation to a group from the group reservations screen will automatically populate the guest profile. All you will have to do from there is select room and rate!

We have groups that stay that there is no one owner (as it has been booked by someone else) however we need each individual to register, the system does not send the email automatically as there is no main contact, having a tick option to send to individuals on the profile as preregistration/billing.

  4. We need a holding space at the bottom or top of the Reservation Calendar view that we can use when moving bookings around (tetris). EG people want to be in the same room and we have to move another booking for this to happen it is impossible to move them without going in and out of the booking profiles and then they end up in the wrong category . if we have the holding space you can move them around with out making any changes other than room/bed number.

  6. Pure QOL improvement:
    Uploading scanned Data sheets into guest profiles is just possible for 1 file at a time right now. Since it's 5 clicks to upload 1 file this becomes pretty quick a nuisance if you have to upload dozens or hundreds of different files but multiple for each guest. A simple windows-style shift/strg option to chose all necessary files at once would come in pretty handy.

  7. Please develop no show as a guest status.
    Right now we can only use cancelled as a status and put no show in the remarks, but it would be great to see at first sight that it was a no show, not cancelled by the guest for all further communication with the guest.

  9. Have an E-mail field in the company profile when you issue an invoice or if you move the bill to a company it will automatically send it to the correct department.

    implement an option to choose the email from the company, the customer or both.

  10. Please use ISO country codes. There are countries with code GB, and reports, bills, customer profile following comes out: United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland
    It occupies 3 lines on an invoice; each report pulled in excel has a wide gap to type the whole country name.
    Please change system as I think most people working in hotels, hostels, campings, and so on, are very well aware of country codes such as: CH, IT, DE, GB, US, CI, ....

  11. Merging profile with email is fine.
    But we could improve it by merging it on basis of the passport/ID number. This way, a booking.com guest would be merged and seen as a returning guest.

  12. When there are several contacts in a company that use the same e-mail address, this should be possible. Now you can only use contact per e-mail.

  13. It would be useful to have a pin (like there is for paymaster accounts or returning guests) on a reservation that contains internals for a quicker review of guests' information.

    Selecting a customer classification within the internals section results in a unique ‘pin’ being added to the customers profile, similar to the ones assigned for paymaster and returning guests.

    Is there a specific classification or additional section you would like to have a quick view of?

  14. When writing a rooming list for a group sometimes due some unknown reson one name in the group is seen on timeline in every single room. That cannot be changed back to be the group name we originally had. Plase give us a way to have a group name for a group, to enter client names to the rooms without messing up the group name. Please give us way to see the number of rooms in a group and how many in different room types. Please give us a way to correct items in a group, like change the date…

  15. With Covid restrictions we know all our arriving guests are New Zealand nationals, we would like an option to add a region so we can see better where our guests are travelling from, this would help us to run targeted ad campaigns and up our guest numbers

  17. When entering companions, new and existing customers should be able to be entered in the same field. The first field should search for existing profile and offer the option "News costumer" (as it works well in the main search field).

  18. in the reservationo verzicht you see, after the adjustment of the way of showing the tourist tax, now every day a new post of the tourist tax. This is not a problem with a short stay. but if a guest stays for 3 months it becomes a very long list and not really clear anymore.

    Thank you for the feedback.

    It is currently possible to customise email templates per space category, by adding information in the free text field “Order email template” within your space category settings. The text will be added automatically at the bottom of the confirmation email when a guest books a reservation for that space category.

    We do not currently have this feature for registration cards. We’ve updated your idea as one to be upvoted by the Mews Community.

  20. A report which sums up the total spending per guest would be useful for loyalty programs. At this point it's only possible to see a total spending by checking profile per profile.
