  1. Right now, it is only possible to check rate totals when creating a new reservation. Even then, the total price is shown based only on the currently selected rate for stay and products added. A rate query tool would be a great option to help clarify and check prices, availability, and restrictions that may apply to different rates, with or without certain products. This additional functionality could also help revenue, sales, and marketing departments to save time and streamline their efforts.

  2. Due to quotas, many properties must choose between their rates, groups, and products when transitioning to Mews. However, increasing the number of quotas system-wide could create speed problems for some properties when there is so much information to load. It is imperative that the system is internally optimized so that it can maintain fast loading speeds while still allowing for an increased number of options.

  6. Each space category is specified with a maximum capacity setting to prevent too many guests and ensure that every companion is accommodated comfortably. In addition to maximum capacity, a setting to define a minimum capacity could also be beneficial for some properties that would like to reserve specific space categories for groups of a certain size.

  9. "For many properties, reservations will come in from various travel agencies, which often come along with unique travel agency numbers. To help clarify this these various details, a field for travel agency number could be added to the reservation module to keep all those important details in one easy-to-find place."

"In the new reservation screen, as users are adding customer data, it could be difficult to identify any important classifications that were previously added, as they are not visible from that screen. Making customer classifications clearly visible in this screen could help eliminate some confusion or highlight information that is important for your team to know."

  14. To properly analyze all data coming in through Commander, properties may want to look specifically at canceled reservations. Within our reservation report, an additional filter for cancellation reason could provide some important insight into that information so that properties can easily view and analyze those details.

    We are very happy to announce, that you are now able to filter by cancellation reason in your reservation report!

    How does it work?

    Simply head over to your reservations report, select the filter “Canceled” > Under Status select “canceled” > Group by “Cancellation reason”.

    You will now be able to see the reason reservations have been cancelled!

  17. Currently, you can enable or disable automatic sending of these emails. However, with this idea, you could specify to whom you would like or wouldn't like to send 'after start' and 'after end' emails
