Allow to set "hours" in the minimum advance restrictions
At the moment, the system only allows to create minimum advance by days. Sometimes we want to have a release of 6 or 12 hours not the entire day but the system doesn't give that option.
Would be great to have this for establishment that don't have reception 24h.39 votes -
Messaging function upgrade
I love the new feature that the guest can contact us via chat. However, it's not very easy that the guestchat and the intern chat is on the same page. also it is not possible to delete a person in the group (for example when they left, or acidentaly add the wrong person) also a delete button for a chat would be great (intern). does the guest chat also be saved in their

Keep Timeline on future date without jump back to today after refresh
Working on multiple future bookings from the timeline it does not make sense that after every refresh of the browser, the date jumps back to today. Could work great with toggle on and off fuction

Breakdown address Reservation report export
Address in the Reservation Report should be broken down and not in one cell. It leads to the impossibility to use those data.
My use case is as follows:
I would like to be able to select all guests coming from specific cities/countries to be more efficient and quick when communicating (specially relevant in terms of COVID when you have a lot of cancellations coming from certain countries/cities)

Set up a single use or gift voucher code that can only be used once to incentivize the guest to book direct for their next stay.

Privilege: Commander Application only
The Mews housekeeping application allows easy communication regarding the spaces being cleaned. However, unfortunately, if the application is being used by the housekeeping staff, those members also have access to the web interface, which includes reports and other sensitive information. Restricting this access could help protect your data and also give only information that is needed for each position.

Restrictions Management screen
Rather than having all restrictions based on rates, a new management screen could be introduced for general restrictions. From here, Mewsers could create independent restrictions and then apply them to rates or rate groups as necessary.

Notes by department
Notes are often added to reservations and meant for a specific department. To help clarify who each message may be intended for, notes functionality could be expanded to include a field for department. This labeling could help eliminate confusion and notify each team about important information.

Group Overview
We need a group overview where we can see upcoming groups (groups in our case means minimum 10 rooms or more per booking).
Just an easy overview of all the group (not individual booking) maybe a month ahead. It could be in a report or by similar to timeline.

Relation between customer Profiles
As we have many returning guests, we need to know which customer belongs to the same family. It would be great to merch Children to their parents and a wife to her husband and visa versa.
Like this we get to know our guests better and the booking process for future stays will be even easier.

Receive an alert on restriction override - Reservation modification
You can easily update/modify an existing reservation, even when a restriction applies. No warning is shown (e.g. MinLOS is disregarded when updating a booking)

Improvements to the reservation report
Reservation Report should include a specific column for products a specific column for the accommodation, not only a single column for the total cost.

Add empty spaces at bottom of Calendar view so we can move bookings around
We need a holding space at the bottom or top of the Reservation Calendar view that we can use when moving bookings around (tetris). EG people want to be in the same room and we have to move another booking for this to happen it is impossible to move them without going in and out of the booking profiles and then they end up in the wrong category . if we have the holding space you can move them around with out making any changes other than room/bed number.

Copy rate
Copy Rates: I would like to copy the whole rate (including pricing) most times I need to change just small things. And the best overall would be if I could copy this into other hotels I have in my profil. That would be awesome!

Mark partially completed Online Check-Ins
Guests often abort the Online CI at the credit card entry field, but complete the guest registration process. A completed guest registration should somehow be marked in MEWS as it saves time for the receptionist and creates a better guest experience.
Possible solutions:
Header text: must be checked in - Completed guest registration - Checked in Online
Icon somewhere in the reservations of the arrival field
When printing out guest registration cards, replace those of the guests that already completed the form with the actual completed PDF. (prefered solution)35 votes -
Voucher Menu
In the summary screen of the voucher menu you only show the Name, Company, Travel Agent. We would like you to add in Rate Code and Expire Date in the overview. As its end of the year we now need to click into every voucher code to check if the voucher is still valid or not. We need a better overview on the created vouchers.
