  1. On the Mailing tab it would be convenient to see a list of emails that have been sent from that reservation.

    That way we can quickly ensure that Reservation Agents are not double sending emails and if the guest contacts us, we can quickly see what has been sent to them concerning that reservation.

  3. We need to be able to move one guest from one room/bed to another one and to edit the reservation even if the account is closed.

    Thank you for your feedback. It is currently possible to move a reservation from one to another both for cases when a bill is closed as well as cases where the reservation has been checked out.


    In order to use this functionality, please ensure that the reservation is unlocked. The date range for which you can edit this infromation depends on the editable history window for your property. You can learn more about the editable history window in this guide.



  4. Tasks in the Commander Housekeeping app do not show which room or reservation number they relate to. Display room or reservation number to tasks in the Mobile version of the Commander Housekeeping app

    Hello from the Mews product team,

    We are very happy to announce that we have added reservation details in the task section of the Mews mobile app!

    You will now be able to view reservation details, as well as the room number of a reservation if there are tasks attached.

    Selecting the room number will take you directly to the space where the reservation is currently assigned.

  5. When we charge the breakfast, the price is the same for the adults of for the children we can't make a difference. It'd b great if we can fix this: the products are adjusted with the number of adults/children in the room

  6. It would be useful if a check / select box can be added next to an individual date range in a reservation rather than selecting/deselecting the whole reservation block with all the dates booked.
    If one of the dates ranges room type need to changed for example I do not have to select it all one by one, time consuming if it is a group booking of 40 rooms per day

    We are happy to inform you that we have added the ability to access the billing screen directly from the timeline.

    In order to make use of this functionality all you need to do is select a reservation from the timeline, from there you will see the billing icon in the side menu. Selecting this icon will open the billing screen as shown in the attached image.

  9. As guests book close to holiday seasons, this can make operations difficult for your property when you may already be low on staff members. With the addition of close to arrival and close to departure restrictions, you can easily specify those dates when you'd like to restrict either check-ins or checkouts.

    We are happy to announce that we have released an update to the way in which product rules are structured.

    What has changed?

    You will now be able to add multiple products to each product rule.

    What does this mean?

    Where you used to need 4 rules containing the same conditions for 4 different products, you now only require 1.

  11. At the moment it is not possible to send messages from the Mews Commander app only receive them. It would be a quick and useful tool for the Mewsers e.g. to communicate from HK to FO.

  13. It would be very useful to have an occupancy report/overview of all the groups per stay day / per status. Then a second layer on picked up vs non picked up rooms per group. To determine wash and create accurate forecasting.

    We are happy to inform you that we currently support the functionality that allows you to view who updated and task and when.

    In order to view the last user to update a task, select the task and view the “Updated” section at the bottom.

  15. It would be grate with a tablet that is on the reception counter, where the registration card comes up for the to sign or input data. That way we would save a lot of time and paper

    We are very happy to inform you that we have expanded the paperless experience for you and your guests. Not only can you allow your guests to sign their registration cards from the Mews Operator (Kiosk) at check-in, you can also provide your guests with the option to sign their registration cards before arriving at your property using the Mews Navigator application.

    Thank you for your request, we are happy to inform you that it is no possible to group by groups in the reservation report in order to view all of the groups in your property. 


    For larger groups you can use the availability block report to view group information.

  18. Having an overview of how many bookings were placed under the company name or to check if a reservation is already made, it would be very useful to have a dashboard just like in a guest profile.

    Hello, monthly bookable services in Mews allow you to price and charge for your services on monthly basis.


    In the coming months, the team will focus on improving the functionality for long stays (monthly reservations) and introduce pro-rating, flexible housekeeping and product posting. We are also looking into payments automation via direct debit.
