Currently, once created, bookable services can never be deleted. If you create some by accident you then have to live with them as they take up valuable up display real-estate (and increase the time it takes to figure out what to click on).
Please introduce the option to delete those (either from the property or from the support level).9 votes
Hello, we are happy to inform you we have enabled service deletion in Mews.
Bookable services can be now deleted if there is no space category or space feature or reservation linked to them.
I don't mind the new billing screen, once you get used to it, it is quite easy to use.
One thing I would suggest is that in the new billing screen, we move a lot of items to Paymasters and we now can't see which item belongs to which guest
It used to show as:
Stay 1129 (Jane Smith, 1/12/2020-2/12/2020, Standard Room, 16) - $150
Now shows as:
Past, 1/12/2020-2/12/2020 - 1129 x1 - $1509 votes

You are currently able to see the name of a the original guest who owned a bill before it was moved to a paymaster account.
We hope this update will be helpful for your day to day tasks.

Since you can't undo cancellations there is no point in having them displayed together with future or current reservations. They could be displayed somewhere else. When you select all reservations the cancellations are also selected, at the same time your editing options on the left side of the display decrease because it now also refers to the cancelled bookings which you can't edit...Why? Either remove cancelled bookings at least from that display fully or let the select all button select everything but the cancelled bookings.9 votes

Registration card must be printed both in French and English.9 votes
Hello from the Mews product team.
We are very happy to inform you that we currently support the ability to print registration cards in multiple languages, including French.
Each registration card is printed based on the guests nationality as set up in Mews. For example if the guests Nationality is French, registration cards printed for that guests will be in French. The same process can be applied for gusts of multiple nationalities.

Mews should not impose anything on our official document. Moreover, if Mews wants to make a change on the official documents, they should warn us before.
Hence we notice that our invoices and pro-format are now labelled "Factuur" (dutch word for invoice). But we do not use dutch in our system.
Forcing us to use dutch language on our english or french invoices is just

To properly analyze all data coming in through Commander, properties may want to look specifically at canceled reservations. Within our reservation report, an additional filter for cancellation reason could provide some important insight into that information so that properties can easily view and analyze those details.9 votes
We are very happy to announce, that you are now able to filter by cancellation reason in your reservation report!
How does it work?
Simply head over to your reservations report, select the filter “Canceled” > Under Status select “canceled” > Group by “Cancellation reason”.
You will now be able to see the reason reservations have been cancelled!

We are very happy to inform you that we have released functionality that will allow you to drag and drop files directly to profiles within the profiles tab.
At the moment in Mews Excel reports the dates contain a character in front of them therefore they can not be used in combination with any extended and formulated self made excel reports. For instance HLOOKUP will not find the date on Mews reports due to above. This is important for proper ARR data on daily basis between segments as at the moment the only way to do this is to average the rates however this dilutes them. All Mews has to do is remove any characters from the dates on the reports.7 votes
