  1. We often change how a promotional rate is priced, sometimes off BAR, then we might change it to equal AAA, or some other rate from our RMS. Currently if I want to change the base rate being used, I have to delete the entire rate plan and rebuild a new one.

  2. Currently when a rate is setup as based upon another rate (base rate) it is only possible to setup one fixed adjustment. However, since we offer rates with and without breakfast, occupancy based adjustments need to be different between rates with and without breakfast (for example).

Wouldn’t a setup option be nice that allows to not derive all room / occupancy prices from the base rate, but only derive the base rate by a certain adjustment and setup the occupancy adjustments and room type adjustments.

    So like:

Base rate: xyz-Rate (← the one the new rate is derived from)

  3. Currently the system has two logic when you want to apply an exception to a restriction: merge with existing exceptions or replace all exceptions but sometimes it is behaving the same way.

For example: I want a rate to be available if people stay 3 nights or 7 nights (not 4, 5 o 6 as this will create availability gaps), the system does not allow you, when you try to put the second exception it replaces the first one. The solution I have been given its to create 2 different rates, but I cannot create a new rate every time…

  4. It would be fantastic if you could get the option to replicate stay restrictions on the base rate to all dependent rates.

I know that there is the possibility of applying restrictions to multiple rates simultaneously.

Some RMS's (Revenue Management systems) are playing with the idea of allowing you to send stay controls from the RMS. The only challenge is that they usually only allow mapping to one rate (your base rate), and hence any restrictions applied using your RMS will only apply to the base rate and not the dependent rates.

Slightly complexed.... the basic question is how to…

  5. Ideally we would like to be able to reuse rates for promotions, just changing the name and percentage of discount.

Currently if you change the name of the rate it will change as well in all existing reservations, when ideally this would not be the case.

If we have the same logic that applies to the price (it does not change in an existing booking even if you change it later) to the rate name then we will be able to reuse rates without need to create a new one every time we launch a promotion.

  6. When Making the connection with D-edge it would be good to have one button to sync multiple rates at once (instead of having to sync the rates one by one)

  9. It would be much needed to have an option to choose which age category to link to rate groups and products. Now we are forced to sell 0€ products and also package rates for children, even though they are not available for children. Very handy for booking engine and less confusion to end customer.

  10. Current situation: E.g. If a guest selects the dates for a 3 night stay and we have restrictions with minim. 4 nights, the dates suggested by the WBE are often not even close to the dates the guest had in min.

Suggestion for solution: The WBE instead suggests an additional night to the guest, so e.g. Guest search for accommodation 21-24th of March where the minimum stay is 4 nights, WBE then suggests 20-24th of March OR 21-25th of March.

That way the guest doesn't think we are fully booked and understands the minimum stay better. Now it only says…
