I’m happy to announce that it is now possible to create multiple bookable services in Mews and start offering offices, meeting rooms, desks or parking spots to your guests.
There is a dedicated timeline and reporting for each new service. Services can be offered on daily or overnight basis.
The process of creation of new bookable services is described in these two guides:
Consumption date of once products is not shown on the Guest in house report. This report is used by the F&B team to determine whether a specific guest has purchased breakfast or not on a particular day. Product report does not show room numbers and therefore cannot be used when guests come to the restaurant.
Please add the consumption date of "Once" products so it can be easily visible on a single report without needing to add notes.133 votes

I recommend adding a field to the customer profile or reservation about disabilities. For example, someone in a wheelchair that cannot use the top bunk. Personally, I would like to let the hotel know that I am deaf.6 votes
It is currently possible to add the customer classification "Disabled person" in the customer internals section of a guests profile

When you’re creating the Optional reservation, you have an option to select whether to send e-mail or not. Please see the attachment.

Right now, marking a room requires the use of a drop down menu. This menu is small, and not colour coded.
Instead, putting 4 buttons with colour and icons will help housekeepers use this app.
We have housekeepers with limited ability to read, and some who are not adept to technology. This would help both tremendously.24 votes
Thank you for the feedback, we are happy to inform you that the Commander mobile app allows you to update the status of the room by swiping left on the space who’s state you would like to change.
Swiping left will also revel each state that can be identified by different coloured buttons.

It would be grate with a tablet that is on the reception counter, where the registration card comes up for the to sign or input data. That way we would save a lot of time and paper16 votes

Not only can you allow your guests to sign their registration cards from the Mews Operator (Kiosk) at check-in, you can also provide your guests with the option to sign their registration cards before arriving at your property using the Mews Navigator application.

When you're creating a new reservation inside a guest reservation/group (extension) you'll have to add, again, the guest profile. It would be way easier and faster if the guest profile was added automatically by default.29 votes

We are happy to inform you that adding an additional reservation to a group from the group reservations screen will automatically populate the guest profile. All you will have to do from there is select room and rate!

Since you can't undo cancellations there is no point in having them displayed together with future or current reservations. They could be displayed somewhere else. When you select all reservations the cancellations are also selected, at the same time your editing options on the left side of the display decrease because it now also refers to the cancelled bookings which you can't edit...Why? Either remove cancelled bookings at least from that display fully or let the select all button select everything but the cancelled bookings.8 votes

We have more than enough of different kinds of stay items for halfboard and other food peroducts. Could you give us a saved report to print all items used only on one report? I mean as we use the operations/product report but we could have a fixed report to show all halfboard items and breakfast and special dinners? Like a food and beverages report. Please.54 votes

Selected charging mode has priority over default charging mode of product stay.
Selected charging mode should have the priority over default charging mode of the stay product.

Add common areas (like pool, kitchen, garden 1, garden 2) to assign them to housekeeping and maintenance, to be able to assign task a cleaning of common area.22 votes
I’m happy to inform you that it is now possible to create spaces/resources without a category and see them on the timeline + assign them house uses. The resources are currently not bookable through the standard channels and can be really “reserved” only for an internal usage.

Thank you for your feedback. We are very happy to inform you that as per your request we have added the option to customise your confirmation email per space type.
In order to make use of this functionality:
1. Select a space category (settings > property > space categories)
2. Scroll down to “Order email template”
3. Enter the text you would like to be sent to your guests and hit save.
4. The text will now appear under the “Additional info” section of your confirmation email for the desired space.
NOTE: The text does not need to be in custom HTML to appear correctly in the email.

For larger properties is would be handy to filter the timeline by space category. E.g. if you have multiple categories the property can select only standard room in the filter to see only the spaces/reservations for the standard space category to change allocations.47 votes

For better usage of managing and deleting of restrictions there would be great to have a calendar which can display there restrictions and enable to manage them.
