  1. In order to get more accurate commission overviews we would like an option when setting up a product to define whether it's commissionable or non commissionable (so if it should calculate for the commission overview).
    Things like city tax, extra products (not via OTA) are non-commissionable but will still be counted for commission rate.
    A tickbox Comm/Non Comm will solve this and provide more accurate commission overviews to support invoicing and business intelligence.

  2. Make the invoice clearer by not putting taxes etc. on each item/line but only at the bottom of the invoice.
    Or if you need details in some countries, give us the possibility to choose the presentation style

  3. When restrictions are in place (for example: minimal stay 2 nights) the internal user CANNOT see the rate on those given days. In fact when restrictions are in place the hotelier cannot see any of the rates. So when there is a WALK IN or a request the hotelier is flying blind. Therefore: even when restrictions are in place there should be an option that hoteliers or certain users can still see the rates of that day.

  4. Currently you can set "reservation assignment strategy" to manage how rooms are allocated to reservations (e.g. top down, bottom up etc.). This works well, except there are a couple of rooms that we would like to allocate as "last sell". i.e. all other rooms get allocated automatically according to the reservation assignment strategy, with the exception of certain room numbers, which would get allocated last if the hotel was to be fully occupied.

  5. Make "PURPOSE" non -configurable in the setup so agents do not have to see it or have the ability to adjust it. Similar to the choice given to market segments

  6. Availability block report there are two statuses: optional & Confirmed. I would request that you can also have a cancelled state aswell. That way you can have a overview of all cancelled blocks, statistics regarding which blocks were picked up and easier communication within the hotel and the booker.

  7. we would really need and appreciate the possibility to be able to choose a date for an external payment. Right now, the date when you put it in mews is chosen, but we offen have bank transfers during the weekend that can only be put in mews on monday. It is very important for our accounting though to have the day of receiving the money in mews, not the day of recording in mews.

  8. Would be good to have the ability to have a mid - stay rate change.
    For example New Years eve package and additional nights on a BB rate. Currently have to make two separate reservations?

  9. To be able to create a combined/if restriction.
    As an example: For a full refund of the nightly rate, the guest must cancel within 48 hours of the creation of the booking AND at least 14 full days prior to the start date of the booking.
    At the moment, it is only possible to have either one of the two cancellation policies.

  10. It would be great to have a "Guest Outside" status for rooms of stay over guests, so Housekeeping knows the room is ready for cleaning.

  11. To be able to generate a report of duplicate profiles (All profile types) report. This will help in managing the merging process for individual profiles and at least flag the other duplicates that can not be merged ie company profiles.

  12. In the summary screen of the voucher menu you only show the Name, Company, Travel Agent. We would like you to add in Rate Code and Expire Date in the overview. As its end of the year we now need to click into every voucher code to check if the voucher is still valid or not. We need a better overview on the created vouchers.

  15. sometimes you need to alert more than one department and/or people of the same task.
    would be handy if you had the opportunity to chose more than one department for the task, or be able to copy it, rather than having to type it all again.

  16. Allow each property to setup and modify their own taxes rather than have Mews hard code these taxes into the system. US taxes are complicated with local, city, county, state, TBID, tourism and other taxes that change independently from each other. This aligns with channel manager setups. Additionally, have the ability to create tax periods for all taxes i.e. start date, end date so that the system can properly tax reservations that cross a tax period change. Have the liability sit with the property administrator who receives notification of future changes and should be held responsible for these changes. This…

  17. It would be good if we could assign room credits for rooms to help the assignment process. Example, smaller rooms would get .75, standard rooms 1.0 and suites 1.5. Thereby, if each housekeeper could clean 12 credits daily, the system could calculate each room by value and assign accordingly. Additionally, stayovers would receive .25 credit against assignment as they take only 20 minutes to touchup versus a full clean would receive +.25 as they take longer to clean as determined by the property. Using this method would improve productivity and room assignment.

  20. good example to state my feature request:

    Some of our hotels offer breakfast as optional service. The customers add it when placing a reservation in the booking engine. The "breakfast during your stay" product is calculating the amount of persons and the amount of nights. We have the correct information that the booking is placed with 2 adults and 1 kid. The price of the breakfast for a kid is cheaper, so it could be interesting if you can add two prices in one product: a price for an adult and a price for a kid.
