  1. As we have many returning guests, we need to know which customer belongs to the same family. It would be great to merch Children to their parents and a wife to her husband and visa versa.

    Like this we get to know our guests better and the booking process for future stays will be even easier.

  2. When guest make reservations via booking.com, expedia... most of the time we only receive a telephone number or address. The e-mail address is in 99% of the cases one generated by the OTA to mask the guests email. Therefore it would be very convenient if Mews would merge profiles based on other similarities as well. This would make it easier to identify guests who have already stayed with us previously.

  3. When you make a new reservation with a returning guest profile there comes a pop-up with important details about the guest.
    Just a note screan that we can fill in, about room numbers they prefer, if they have a dog, that they always want an extra pillow etc.
    That would be great.

  4. Make "PURPOSE" non -configurable in the setup so agents do not have to see it or have the ability to adjust it. Similar to the choice given to market segments

  5. Please include in the action log, if an email has been sent to the guest via Mews ie. confirmation, quotation, cancellation etc.

    Now that we have to manually send confirmation emails, it would be greatly beneficial to be able to check if this has been done.

    Thank you for sharing your request with us. The email address field is currently in the reservations report export, would you be able to share your use case to have quick access to emails from the reservation report?

  7. When a guest books either online using the Mews booking engine or a reservation agent books directly into Mews, the Blacklist in the Profile does not prevent the booking or blocks the guest from booking. It would be good if a guest is blacklisted to prevent the booking and display a banner or a message to the guest to contact the hotel directly. Currently, there is nothing that prevents the booking for occurring other than to see the icon which is very small.

  9. To be able to generate a report of duplicate profiles (All profile types) report. This will help in managing the merging process for individual profiles and at least flag the other duplicates that can not be merged ie company profiles.

  10. It would be good to have an history of name changes in guest profiles. It would also be very useful if we could find profiles even when searching for the old name in the search bar. That way we could find a reservation using an original email from the client, evenif the name in the reservation changed.

  11. could we have some open options on the internals on the guest profile please. at the moment the list is not working for us at all with most options not applicable and those that we need not on the list.
    have perhaps some standard ones (like return guest / complaint), but leave around 10 open fields per property which we are able to populate ourselves.
    currently it is as good as pointless having this feature

  12. It would be very helpful if the system recognize a returning guest also by s passport number , date of birth and name , if he often books with different travel agencies.

  14. Currently, it is possible to adapt our registration cards in MEWS. However, if we do so, the registration card that a guest sees during their online check-in does not change. Both registration cards should be similar with the same data required.

  15. This is a great feature, however it seems to be Euro-centric, in that the house numbers are being put at the END of the guest's address.

    Is there anyway to fix this so that Australian addresses always have the house number BEFORE the street address?

  16. When you export customer profiles to excel, the field 'language' is not added. So I need to filter on postal code to know which language the customer speaks. Which is totally incorrect.
    Please add the field 'language' to the excelfile guest profiles.

  17. Why is it that if a name is entered incorrectly at reservation, that if it is updated in the system, it doesn't show up as changed on the timeline or the guest's dashboard?
    It's not until you go completely into the guest's profile that you can see the changes.
    EG: A guest uses the name Bob at reservation then later asks for it to be under Robert Dawson. The name Bob is the only thing that shows on the timeline and dashboard

  19. To have a quick report for one team it would be easier to filter by product categories. For example food & drinks - to get a list of all products produced in the kitchen or spa & wellness to get a list of massages and treatments. Time of consumption would be another benefit for being prepared.
