  1. At this moment we can not check how many baby beds + extra single beds are already booked and we would love to see this in the time line view so we can see this quickly.

  3. When the reception checks-out a reservation it would be nice to notify the housekeeping department so they can inform their teams.

  4. At the moment in order to put a room out of order, you need first to reallocate all the reservations assigned to that particular space. It can take a lot of time, specially if it is a long period.
    It would be nice if Mews could automatically reassign those reservations to another space.

  6. Hi I believe a report that shows all traces by room number would be very helpful for our daily operations. We have plenty of HSKneeds for individual rooms and we need a report that has all the information by room number. E.g. room 205 is allergic to feather, room 206 wants romantic turndown service and room 320 wants service everyday at noon.

    A report that contains guests name, arrival/departure dates and all necessary information described above would help a lot. It would nice to be able to print it for a range of rooms too so that you can give…

If you go in to the space status report and view different dates the responsible person is based on the current day responsible person (i.e. Housekeeping lady 1 is responsible for room 101 on 27/10//20, according to the report the same persons was responsible for room 101 on 25/10/20 even though housekeeping lady 1 was not working that day or had repsonsibility for a different room)

    Would be great if Mews could store data for the responisble person each day, so you can easily track who was responsible for which room on which date and maybe let housekeeping manager assign…

  10. Currently, anyone with Housekeeping privileges can update the room status from Dirty to Clean to Inspected.

    Hotels, however, want only managers to really do the inspection. It would make a lot of sense to restrict the inspected status change to housekeepers only.

  12. When you unassign an employee from a space assigning a new one overrides the previous employee. Please add signal before you assign an employee to a room/floor which is already assigned to someone else.

    As Eric has mentioned, in the thread below it is currently possible to override an assigned space by assigning another employee to it.

    The title and body of this request has been updated to reflect that. We have included the request to signal users when overriding a housekeeper.

  13. Housekeeping - assigning multiple employees (ie. 2) to the same space.

    Housekeeping would like to assign two housekeeping employees to the same room i.e. one for the bathroom and one for the remaining of the room.

  14. Until now we can lock the room one by one... It would be great if we can lock rooms by block and switch the room status easily. Now we must create, and delete to change the room status.

  15. I would like to be able to prioritise which spaces need to be cleaned first when assigning spaces to my employees.

    Please may you add the filters for example dirty departed and departing in space assignment form.

  16. In case the cleaning service is outsourced, the current configuration of MEWS gives certain problems, even configuring the users with only housekeeping permissions:

    In App Commander:
    - It does not allow the external cleaning manager to assign spaces to his employees
    - You can access all kinds of information about the tasks, not just those of the cleaning department

    On Web Commander:
    - It allows you to see information about guest reservations (name, price, commissions...)

    It would be very useful to solve these issues so that it is really a useful application that can be used in case the service…

  17. Customers can choose to join the save the planet program, and therefor have no housekeeping services during their stay. We made this a product so customers can book the Save The planet program online. or front office can add it to a reservation. This product needs to be visible in the commander app. And if possible Housekeeping should be able to add the product during customers stay.

  19. To keep our team safe during the pandemic, we would like to automatically quarantine a room after a check-out for 24 or 48 hours before our housekeeping team enters the room to prepare it.

    This helps us protect our team, and gives guests confidence that the room is safe from COVID-19.

  20. As for hostel, it would be great to have each bed counted as 1 space, so that total space amount reflects the exact amount of beds.
    We have an option to book the whole room, but also single beds in dormitory.
    Currently, every room and every bed counts as 1 space.
    It is confusing as for now 8-beds dormitory is counted as 9 spaces (8 beds as 8 spaces + the whole room as a separate space)!

    Furthermore, changing the dorm status (dirty->clean->inspected) does not affect the status of beds, we have change the status of every single bed one…
