  1. To keep our team safe during the pandemic, we would like to automatically quarantine a room after a check-out for 24 or 48 hours before our housekeeping team enters the room to prepare it.

    This helps us protect our team, and gives guests confidence that the room is safe from COVID-19.

  2. Can we have a column on the space status report displaying how long a room has been vacant for? This is especially useful for Legionella purposes for example. Thanks

    Hello Mewsers,

    We are very happy to inform you that we now show the room number, and reservation details for all tasks linked to reservations in the Mews mobile app.

    You can test this functionality by linking a task to a reservation in Mews web > open the mobile app > in the tasks tab you will see the link icon > select the link icon to view reservation details including the room number.

    It is also possible to select the room number to be directed to the linked room in the Mews mobile app.

  4. make it easy for house keeper by just giving data the check out or the stay which makes them feel more comfortable and the paper looks nice and clean as housekeepers do not need the name of the guest.
    with just room number stayover or checck out details and thats it

    Hello Mewsers,


    It is currently possible to to export the Space status report filtererd by the states of a reservation for example "departed" which will show checked out reservations.


    We are currently working on a new privilage that would enable the removal of guest details and Mews housekeeping app.

  5. Hello, I'd like to share an idea regarding the Housekeeping.The hotel bought mobile phones for every chambermaid and the manager in order to work with the Mews app and the features it offers. However, we have noticed, that if our chambermaids do the cleaning (they change the status from DIR-->CLN) and the manager inspects it and is satisfied ( change from CLN -->INS ) marks it as inspected and it stays like that until further change.

    The issue emerges when we're talking about a room, where does the guests stay, 'cause the app says "inspected" even the other day, when…

  6. Status screen, an besides of just having the time/hour the check-out was made, couldn’t there also be some other kind of indication (like C/O) that the room/bed was already checked-out too?

  7. Housekepping departments can't use the app as it's not translated into Spanish and normally this staff is not speaking any other language.

  15. In the previous version OOS-rooms
    Main screen/overview doesn't show the reason why OOS-rooms are OOS. In the previous version, staff could see whey a room was OOS and could anticipate instantly. Now they have to open the room to see, and that creates errors, especially as you then open the page in which they can make changes, rather than only consult.

  18. Currently, anyone with Housekeeping privileges can update the room status from Dirty to Clean to Inspected.

    Hotels, however, want only managers to really do the inspection. It would make a lot of sense to restrict the inspected status change to housekeepers only.

  19. Housekeeping - assigning multiple employees (ie. 2) to the same space.

    Housekeeping would like to assign two housekeeping employees to the same room i.e. one for the bathroom and one for the remaining of the room.

  20. When we do housekeeping list, we have 2 main different bookings, which can only be categorized by segment, that would allow us to make the list faster and avoid the confusion between different segment bookings
