  1. It would be great if tasks and rooms could be assigned to housekeepers with one action. Instead of switching between "Space Status" page and "Tasks" page.

  2. I think most hotels are outsourced their room cleaning,
    So we must get a sum up from the PMS / or from the app the number of room cleaned and inspected during a period

  3. I would like to be able to prioritise which spaces need to be cleaned first when assigning spaces to my employees.

    Please may you add the filters for example dirty departed and departing in space assignment form.

  6. We would love a report that we can pull for housekeeping to estimate staffing levels - only with upcoming arrival and departure dates, without guests email addresses, phone numbers and rates. A possibility to strip out that information automatically would be great to send it to an outsourced housekeeping team.

  7. The housekeeping staff would prefer to only work with the housekeeping app as not all of them have the skills to work on the computer.
    The notes of each reservation are visible when clicking on each room, but the products ordered by the guest such as (champagne, pet…) and the general customer notes are not (f.e. allergic pillow, fan when hot outside…).
    We would therefore request that the guest profile notes are being shown as notes in each reservation too.

  8. Would be much easier to assign floors to every housekeeper instead of spaces. They already work everyday by floor so would help them to keep the same organization that we have today. Also regarding the assignments would it be nice if they can see them on the Commander app. That will void printing reports everyday. The supervisor can assign a floor and the housekeeper can be able to see that on the app in order to know what need to be done during their shift.

    We are very happy to announce that this feature has been released. You are now able to swipe in order to set a room status as either dirty, clean or inspected from the Mews Mobile application.

  10. In the previous version OOS-rooms
    Main screen/overview doesn't show the reason why OOS-rooms are OOS. In the previous version, staff could see whey a room was OOS and could anticipate instantly. Now they have to open the room to see, and that creates errors, especially as you then open the page in which they can make changes, rather than only consult.

  12. For our housekeeping we would like to have the space category and the features shown per room in the app. This way they can see for example if a room has a twin or a double bed.

  13. When we do housekeeping list, we have 2 main different bookings, which can only be categorized by segment, that would allow us to make the list faster and avoid the confusion between different segment bookings

  14. Housekepping departments can't use the app as it's not translated into Spanish and normally this staff is not speaking any other language.

  18. As housekeeping complete their daily tasks, they often add special items to prepare for arriving guests. For this reason, it's very important that housekeeping staff is up to date on any notes or special instructions that come along with each assignment. Adding customer notes within the Commander application could provide much needed insight, so your staff will always be informed of important facts and ready to welcome your guests properly.

    Hello Mewsers,

    We are very happy to announce that you are now able to view reservation notes in the Mews mobile app.

    In order to view notes, select a reservation in the Mews web application > and add a note from the properties tab. Once the note has been saved, you will be able to view the note in the space details section of the Mews mobile app.

  19. It would be helpful if the task section had the option to add pictures when creating a task. This is essential for both cleaners and maintenance team where having a picture that shows the issue is vital.
