In hotels with many (corporate) rates where every rate has different cancellation terms, different benefits etc...front desk staff has difficulties to know what benefits are linked to certain rates. Displaying the rate description as a note in each reservation would help Front Desk to correctly inform guest.

    Specific example: if a company with a corporate rate is entitled to a discount on our parking price (when the guest uses parking), it would be useful that when a reservation is created with that company rate...an automatic note appears: corporate rate with breakfast, 6PM cancellation policy and 10% on parking.

  4. Dear Mews team, kindly note that the OLD AVAILABILITY screen is VERY ESSENTIAL for day to day work.
    The NEW availability & occupancy report does not show the whole picture of the property at a glance.
    It is very important to have the availability screen back as it is time consuming to get to the button "Old Occupancy Report" and then change mode from Occupancy to Availability.
    This is life necessary screen to have, so please never dispose this button and if possible, please bring it back to the main menu page.

    Hello from the Mews product team. Thank you for your suggestion. Unfortunately, this request will not be added to the Mews development roadmap and is unlikely to be delivered. This is because the team is working on bringing functionality that achieves a form of parity with the old report based on feedback from users like you. Thank you for sharing your suggestions.

  5. Make it possible to set a period of time to a productrule. Example: the swimmingpool surcharge is applicable from April to October. In the current situation, the productrule is always applicable or never applicable

  6. When you configure a product the price can only be: "per night", "per person", "per person per night" or "once". It would be great to have an additional option, a quantity up to the guest between some values stablished in MEWS. For example: we accept between one and two dogs per room and we can only sell one vía web; we want to sell bike rent for 1h during the stay, and just 2 people out of the four in the booking want to rent the bike (this is not possible either).

  10. Availability Blocks no longer copy rates from the BAR, even if setup to do so. Instead these load Base Rate with weights.

    This old school way of Groups pricing is no longer viable for properties with advanced RMS where each room is being priced fully dynamically and independently.

    Please bring back that functionality to this absolutely great feature. Since the availability blocks were introduced, our Groups managers cut hours spent on having to manually process each quotation. But without this pricing in there, the tool became useless, unfortunately.

  11. if you want to extent a made booking, the price will automaticaly change. Also if you have fixed rates for a customer group, it changes to the daily rate, which is extremely wrong and not helpful.

  12. It would be convenient to receive a notification if the occupancy reaches a certain percentage on a certain day. (e.g. if 60% OCC is reached on a certain day, you receive an email to notify you).

  13. When you have made an adjustment to a rate you have to go through the whole year to see that adjustment.

    I.e. I have a base rate on 800 SEK. I have an adjustment that apply every sat - sun. That lower the price to 650 SEK. It's easy to do and hard to manage.

    What if I'm not happy with the lenght of it or want to do adjustments to that adjustment. There is no overlook on what adjustments are applied. The only thing I can do is change the date and the start scrolling. How far did someone…

    - Employee priviledges: be able to block rate changes
    - Be able to push a report to see if there was a rate change to a booking

  15. Would like for the possibility to change the relatvive price adjustment on each room category. At the moment the only option is to use the same relative adjustment on all room categories in a rate. Example: Classic +10%, Deluxe + 20% etc.

  16. Functionality to allow Room Type Overbooking while maintaining total capacity of the hotel.
    When noticing high volumes of demand for standard rooms and upgrades won't sell, you can allocate an amount of rooms you want to overbook on the standard room while still maintaining the total capacity of the hotel.

  19. Tax-exempt rates should allow for derived from taxed rates. The current functionality requires US properties to maintain 2 Base Rates -- 1 taxed and 1 tax-exempt. The taxes are irrelevant to the base rate pricing, and a are function of the guest type (church, government, non-profit), OTA pays tax, or 30+ day stay. There is no reason they should be managed separately from other rates.
