    For example:

  2. Right now, going through each stay restrictions requires your read each specific variable. However, just each restriction should be able to be named so that we can quickly figure out what each one does by title instead of reading through each variable.

  5. When you manage rates and all rules in PMS, you could not round up your final price. For exemple, special offer to 10% OFF, the final price will be $101.52 instead of $102.

    Hello from the Mews product team. Thank you for your suggestion. Unfortunately, this request will not be added to the Mews development roadmap and is unlikely to be delivered. We will need to do a thorough discovery on how it will affect prices and taxes for our clients globally and rethink how our system may have to be changed under the hood to accommodate this change. Thank you for sharing your suggestions.

  6. To setup 2 policies applicable to 1 rate who has different season instead of creating new rates for each season. The current system block guest from booking through 2 seasons. Example: A stay Dec 17 to Dec 25. December 17 to 20 is low season and December 21st to 25 is holiday/peak season. Low season is 1 policy and Peak/Holiday is 1 policy. Currently, I have 2 rates due to the policy issue.

  7. When we have a promotionnal rate derived from another rate group
    The strikeout price is the most expansive price of the same rate group.
    But the rate can be derived from a rate code that is in another rate group.
    When we apply the discount on this base rate, to have the derived rate, the striked-out rate should be the one used for the derivation instead of the most expansive of the group.

  8. Currently for Rate Management, we have to manually fill in the Room Rates for each day and each room. We use software that can generate a CSV with Rates for each Room Type, but at the moment we aren't able to import it.

  9. Make it possible to set a period of time to a productrule. Example: the swimmingpool surcharge is applicable from April to October. In the current situation, the productrule is always applicable or never applicable

  10. It would be great if there is a possibility to make a split in the rate in different accounting ledger, without the guests seeying it.
    So like you can do by product rules, but than completly without the guest seeying your split.
    You can now put on bill as package, but then the guest still sees the product on the confirmation.

  11. we have several corporate rates for different LOS and different levels of discount, although they are all showing as "corporate rate", it is important that we are able to distinguish when making reservations. to have the short name instead of the full name coming up when picking the rate would be really helpful.

  12. If only the reservation manager has access to the Rate Management in Mews, then when employees are changing the rate of the booking, they will not be able to know what was the original price of the rate. They will only see from the action log the original rate and not the original price.

Too many different rates in the "rate-tree"... just to create some discount, incl vs excl breakfast, non-refund vs flex etc. Can Attribute-Based Selling or Room Feature Combination Sales be an easier route forward or at least an option? https://hoteltechreport.com/news/breaking-room-categories

  14. Allow for a 'rate cap' or 'maximum threshold' for space categories that are derived by a percentage increase off the base rate.

    For example: a space category that decreases 20% off base rate would not be allowed to reach below $.xx or above $.xx

  15. Would be nice to have a Rate Rules settings (as also Product Rules) to be able to make more tailor made rates. At this moment we use the Rate Rules settings to setup rates, but this results in wrong city tax, because the Product Rules settings are not included in the (hard coded) city tax calculation.

    1) "BUCKET A" IS THE ENTIRE HOTEL

    IF YOU CLOSE OUT BUCET 1 - ALL THE BUCETS CLOSE. BUT IF YOU CLOSE UT I.E BUCET "C", A AND B WILL STILL SELL - THAT WAY YOU CAN GIVE KAM ACCOUNTS LONGER AVAILABILITY THEN I.E BOOKING.COM
    ALSO A FUNCTION TO OPEN CLOSE OUT SPESIFIC ROOM CATEGORIES IN A SIGLE CLICK.

  18. I selected rate management, but this occurs in so many places, reports, availability, reservations rate screen, etc.

    Please lock the top and left headers on any screen that has up/down right/left scrolling available.
    Position the scroll bar directly under the locked top header for easier navigation and indication there is more information off screen.

    The scroll bar is at the bottom of the page, and nothing is locked at the top or right of the page, so when you have to scroll right you completely lose all headers. It becomes very tedious to have to guess where to land, then…

  19. we sometimes have guest who extend an existing booking. where their company was paying for the invoice and thus on a company rate, the extension would be for the guest and on a different rate.
    currently we need to make a new booking, which is confusing for several departments like housekeeping but also effects our statistics for length of stay.
    any chance we could manage this by adding a different rate for a specific time period.
    please note, it is not feasible to change the rate on the day as this might get missed and thus creating errors

  20. Have the option to restrict product to specific dates.
    For example: if we have New Years Eve Gala Dinner created as a product, would be very helpful to be able to restrict this product to only guests staying during the night of the 31st of December, and not to any booking date.
