  1. By now, Mews restrictions do not allow to set a specific day of the week you want to exclude. If you wish to make a % discount on Sunday night for example, you will have to close all other days on your restriction but travelers will not be able to book several nights including Sunday night. Very bad if you are looking to maximize length of stay and want to compensate those staying on Sunday.
    Mews team, please keep improving restrictions to allow us to combine various setups, it is so important! Thanks

  2. One should be able to insert in the configuration the lowest rate to be typed when updating rates (BAR) so that no typing error can be made (for instance 9 instead of 99).

  3. A discount (%) campaign should also be possible to reduce also Products (Product Rule) with that %. The obvious example is breakfasts - yet, preserving city tax without any % discount. This way, the myriad of special discounted Products, Product Rules etc would be avoided.

  4. Vouchers feature factually being able to be limited to only be used certain nights stayed (discounted events/corporates/groups). Vouchers are currently merely limited to be bought certain days. With this new feature we would avoid risk of subsequent guest Voucher misuse for other nights than the event/campaign period and/or a maze of Restrictions.

  5. We should be able to modify rates for multiple room categories at once. When we modify rates for a given period we should be able to select the period and then enter the rate for each category of rooms instead of having to click - re-enter the dates and then the rate.
    It takes 3 times to amount it should take to have a more dynamic rate strategy!

  6. Would like for the possibility to change the relatvive price adjustment on each room category. At the moment the only option is to use the same relative adjustment on all room categories in a rate. Example: Classic +10%, Deluxe + 20% etc.

  7. Functionality to allow Room Type Overbooking while maintaining total capacity of the hotel.
    When noticing high volumes of demand for standard rooms and upgrades won't sell, you can allocate an amount of rooms you want to overbook on the standard room while still maintaining the total capacity of the hotel.

  8. Dear Mews team, kindly note that the OLD AVAILABILITY screen is VERY ESSENTIAL for day to day work.
    The NEW availability & occupancy report does not show the whole picture of the property at a glance.
    It is very important to have the availability screen back as it is time consuming to get to the button "Old Occupancy Report" and then change mode from Occupancy to Availability.
    This is life necessary screen to have, so please never dispose this button and if possible, please bring it back to the main menu page.

This is because the team is working on bringing functionality that achieves a form of parity with the old report based on feedback from users like you. Thank you for sharing your suggestions.

  9. It would be convenient to receive a notification if the occupancy reaches a certain percentage on a certain day. (e.g. if 60% OCC is reached on a certain day, you receive an email to notify you).

  10. Currently, it's unfortunately not possible to set a minimum price for a space / room category.

    However, this would be very helpful if you have a set of rates that derive its price from another rate (called "base rate" in Mews).

    Let's look at the following example: To create better long-stay rates, I created 16 rates. For every two days a guest stays longer, the guest will receive a (small) discount for the whole stay.

    So, the rate is always derived from another (base) rate. I would like to be able to set a minimum price on a space category…

  11. it would be really practical if we were able to set pricing/rates for the whole year instead of having to select a period of only a few weeks. Would save a lot of time.
    Right now mews only accepts the pricing for the initially selected period, regardless of the dates chosen in the smaller pricing tab.

  13. Add a multiple select option for Space Categories inside rate set-up.

    I don't necessarily want all space categories sold on every rate that is set-up. It would be ideal if I could select the applicable space category inside the rate rather than having to "always" apply multiple restriction across many rates and room types, this has potential of creating hundreds of restrictions (10 rates/10 spaces).

  14. Once you have created a rate, you should be able to amend it and link it to a base rate. If you have already mapped it on your channel manager, you do not wish to delete it and restart, you just want to now link it to a base rate or change the base rate link

  16. I would like the ability to Restrict Distributor (Mews online bookings), so the only way a reservation can be made is by a Mews user. I have my channel rates set-up in Rate Groups and am able to restrict my external channels as needed. However, the only way I can Restrict Distributor is by applying it to the whole house, which isn't always necessary or desired.

  17. When restrictions are in place (for example: minimal stay 2 nights) the internal user CANNOT see the rate on those given days. In fact when restrictions are in place the hotelier cannot see any of the rates. So when there is a WALK IN or a request the hotelier is flying blind. Therefore: even when restrictions are in place there should be an option that hoteliers or certain users can still see the rates of that day.

  18. To be able to create a combined/if restriction.
    As an example: For a full refund of the nightly rate, the guest must cancel within 48 hours of the creation of the booking AND at least 14 full days prior to the start date of the booking.
    At the moment, it is only possible to have either one of the two cancellation policies.

  19. In the summary screen of the voucher menu you only show the Name, Company, Travel Agent. We would like you to add in Rate Code and Expire Date in the overview. As its end of the year we now need to click into every voucher code to check if the voucher is still valid or not. We need a better overview on the created vouchers.
