Hotels should be able to further customize email communication from Mews. Be able to schedule the emails, decide on the target group of guests (by segment, rate type, space type, origin of reservation, classification, etc), create custom emails. Right now the emailing function is limiting and hotel can only choose limited amounts of templates and outside of customizing the content, they can't customize anything else.12 votes

When making optional bookings, this means we are holding a room/rooms but the booking is not confirmed.
If this bookings is never confirmed, we should have an status called released instead of cancelled, as you are not really cancelling the booking, you are releasing the booking.7 votes

It would be very useful to have an occupancy report/overview of all the groups per stay day / per status. Then a second layer on picked up vs non picked up rooms per group. To determine wash and create accurate forecasting.8 votes

Right now as we know Booking.com guests are assigned unique Alias emails for communication/profiles. If a guest receives a confirmation email (despite the property being in German for example) the email is automatically sent in English as Mews will by default sent it in English to any profile that does not have a language associated to it.
This is despite the property being in a German environment.7 votes
When sending a confirmation e-mail to booker I see strange information:
I see a line called "owner": owner of what. In most hotels there are guests staying in hotel, not owners.
Owner of what ?
Same "mistake" is seen in other languages.
Please allow that hotel changes widget or do keeping in mind that our business is about people and things. Thank you.9 votes
It would be useful to have a mail template to be sent a few days before the guest arrival, as a reminder, but also to let them have directions to the hotel, useful info regarding events during their stay etc.38 votes
We have template called “Before start” which is automatically sent 48 hours before the guest’s arrival.
This template is partially customizable. You can customize Subject, Headline, and Paragraph. (please see the attachment)

When you go to edit the dates you selected in the date selector of the new reservation screen it loads up the next 3 months first, even if the dates you'd previously selected were months in the future.
It would be useful if the date picker jumps to the area of the dates you had already selected as it's likely the new dates are going to be around those dates.9 votes
It would be great that we could set a ring/bell signal for some urgent tasks, like for: Late check out, wake-up call, any other urgent task. So you hear that something urgent needs to be done, also when you do not look at the desktop screen.6 votes
Now, the automatic reminder and cancellation e-mails are send to the guest and not the booker. Even if the guest has no e-mail, the booker (or anybody else) does not receive an automatic reminder and cancellation. As we have a agreement with the booker and not with the guest, it should be the booker who must receive the automatic reminder and cancellations. Now, bookings are being canceled automatically (when not reconfirmed before the deadline), without notifying the booker, who did originally receive the confirmation. This is a major flaw of MEWS. The booker should receive automatic reminders and cancellations!10 votes

The notifications window and the information "order created"is a bit pointless since it doesn't show any more information. In order to find out what order was created you have to click on order created and you will be send to the reservation. It would make more sense to at least show a booking umber or name in the notifications window next to order created.11 votes
