  1. When I enter a block pattern (example: 4-7-5-5-3) the system makes me pick the rooms up as if I have 4 rooms staying for one night, then 7 rooms staying for one night, then 5 rooms staying for 2 nights etc. instead of staggered arrivals with different lengths of stay like blocks typically are. Can that be changed?

    Thank you for your suggestion. Availability blocks in Mews allow for availability to be adjusted per space category per day as you have described above. When availability is adjusted, a set number of spaces are removed from public availability per day. 


    It is possible to support staggered arrival dates within an availability block, however the arrival dates are limited within the contractual constraints agreed upon i.e the number of spaces made available per day. 


    Based on your example above, it appears that you are referring to run of house reservations. Is that the case?

  2. With regard to the North American market, it would be very helpful to add a filter that would identify which Provinces and/or States our guests are from. Thank You.

  3. Admin to have own the rights to be able to change employees usernames, currently all employees can change their usernames themselves

  4. When splitting a booking, it creates a new booking, and pick ups in any RMS. Please don't consider a booking as a new received booking, as it false pick up and data.

  5. 2FA does not authenticate the device rather the sign on, can this be applied as a device authentication rather than sign on as it impedes operations. Feature request to have more flexible ways around using the 2FA a fob to login at the desk for example?

  6. When in the billing screen of a reservation that is due out. It would be nice to have an option to Charge, Close and Check out.

    This would prevent us from having to go back into the reservation status and check out the room manually

  7. think there is an issue with the system as normally you are able to see the drop down window. now it seems to be hidden behind the availability window underneath. please look into this urgently as it creates more work with having to add this after the booking has been made.
    PS - even on the next screen where there is no other window underneath are you able to see the bookers names!
    PS2 - NOWHERE are you able to see the bookers names, not even in the reservation itself - madness!!!

    We are currently looking into this issue, and would like to know a few more details, would you be able to ket us know if you are currently using Mews on Mobile or desktop as well as the browser you are using?


    It is currently possible to view booker names on the reservation module, the booker name appears on the right hand side of the reservation module under the "Status" section.

  8. The dashboard on the home page should be expanded to select a date. Or expand the function so that you have a monthly overview. Working with the availability report is not sufficient here.

  9. It would be great if we can set a relative adjustment for a period and not set for the complete system. Meaning rates of 2022 and 2023 are different, meaning a different relative adjustment. However, I now have to adjust it manually in the booking as this feature is not there.

  10. it would save a lot of time if the yellow out of order blocks could be split instead of us having to shorten them and create a new one for the other half when we only need to open up a room for a certain date.

  11. Holiday rentals/apartments that are dotted around a city/country will often have a situation where each room is its own category. Currently there is a limit of 120 per service. It's possible to create a service per region/city however this isn't very scalable when a region reaches 120 resources and then everything has to be split to a new service.

  12. When using + sign copy over rights of the users to the new user so you dont need to review every box. This will save a lot of time having to manage a chain.

  13. Make cashlist the standard for every guest without (valid) credit card, instead of having to choose this manually to prevent guests from running away without paying.

  14. We currently have the ability to assign a task to a user. However, in Notes, we can only leave plain text messages. We would like the ability to tag users using @function in Notes if this is possible. Also, would like to see who left a note by User and the note alway appears as General and not the specific user to created the Note.

  15. In a big chain with a lot of companies, it is a must to be able to lookup on the company identifier. A lot of companies have the same name but other identifiers.

  18. I am very good at filling in the calendar with event occurring in Karlstad BUT

    Is there something I can do so that old events disappear after they have passed the date.

    As it is now I have events from 11th of June 2021 and all the time when I fill in a new event it starts from the beginning. Very annoying!

  20. The donut on the right in mews shows how complete the guest profiles are. However, when you click on the GIH donut to have a detail, it shows you the arriving profiles as well. In order to see the actual GIH, you still need to change the filters. This is not logical, as you are clicking on GIH, mews should apply the filters accordingly and only show the profiles of the guests who are actually in house at that moment.
