  1. I have been facing an issue with my timeline and task donuts as it does not gives me real time data and my timeline if i resolve the overbooking it still keeps on showing the red or orange line for overbooking so i need to log in again and then it gets resolve and this is what we are facing since 2 months and they are still working on the issue lol since 2 months and they will get back to us when they have something lol almost 2 months???

  2. It would be really helpfull for hoteliers who are used to work with the timeline, that they can assign customized colors for each reservation. So that they can handle that with their own system. For example for special groups or VIPs individual colors in the timeline.

  3. Right now to add bookings to the same 'group booking' you have to open the booking then click the '+ reservation' button. If you make a booking through the regular '+' icon that's always visible for example you can't send a confirmation with both bookings in the same email.
    I'd like to have a function that simply allows you to couple or group bookings together to make this process easier.

  4. When clicking on a specific unit, there is a section where you can see all the OOO that are scheduled for that unit and any future OOO scheduled as well. It would be nice to also be able to see what future reservations are scheduled for that unit, in the event we need to see which unit is available for an extended stay booking far out on the calendar.

    Thank you for your suggestion. Unfortunately, this request will not be added to the Mews development roadmap and is unlikely to be delivered.

    We at Mews follow strict design guidelines and principles and customising the colours on the timeline is currently not something we will be working on. We constantly review our design choices and will keep usability and accessibility very close in our decision making process.

  6. It would be great if there would be the option to add 'House use' on a recurring basis. (For example to block one room for a weekend each month, to make sure to have availability for VIP guests etc).

  7. When adding house use in the timeline the assigned (short) names are not visible but only room numbers. It is impossible to differentiatie between the space categories when the room numbers are identical.

  8. Automated decrease of implemented overbooking levels,
    when resolving red lines in timeline.

    We overbook a lot, however when doing our room planning via the timeline, resolving the over bookings, the rooms as back for sales, so we would need to go into the availability screen and lower it manually. Would be great if this process can be automated, reducing the risk of to many overbookings.

  9. Have a drop down that allows your to sort the timeline in different ways.
    eg.
    - by room category/room type (current)
    **** by room number *** (MOST IDEAL UPDATE)
    - by room location
    - top floor/bottom floor
    - interconnecting
    etc.

  10. The timeline should be ordered by number and not only by categories, as every PMS does, instead of showing only by categories. By categories, the timeline is a real mess, since you have room numbers totally mixed.

  11. A guest stays in the hotel for a longer period of time. Now he has to move to another room. It would be nice if there is a possibility to move this room. For example with drag and drop. As an alternative, the booking should be marked with a symbol so that you can recognize the guest is staying longer in the house!

    Hi Emmeran,

    It is currently possible to split a reservation during a guests stay.

    You can perform this action by opening a reservation → selecting the “properties” tab. In the section “Split reservation”, select the date and time that the guest will begin their stay in the new room.

    Once you’ve select “Ok”, you will be able to view two reservations for the guest. The current reservation will be labelled “Checked in”, and the reservation for a future date will be labelled “Future”.

    From here you can move the either reservation to a desired space.

  12. It would be good to get the option to change the timeline view and display the company name instead of guest name / sometimes we need to be able to see which companies have guests staying, now you would have to click into each booking to find this out

  13. like when you are scrolling up / down you condense the number of spaces displayed on the timeline, you should also be able to do that with the number of days displayed. It would be great if you would be able to see at least one full month on the timeline (ideally would be at least two months!)

  16. Due to the Corona virus we offer all our guests a new arrival date in the future . We want to add a color to these reservations to make it more visible for us . What do u think ?

  17. At the moment, if you want to block a space as OOO the space has to be empty. This is really frustrating if you have a big space, eg our 28 bed dorm. I need to unallocate/upgrade all bookings first. It would be easier if I could mark the space as OOO first, then any reservations that can fit into other spaces of this type would be automatically moved. Everything else would sit unallocated for me to upgrade when I'm ready.

  19. Arrival and Departure notes in a separate field in the Reservation Properties
    A note box which is not moved down with every new note and where you can add the details you need (time, flight, vessel, pax etc)

  20. Allowing users to manage the auto assignment of rooms. This should be an on property manageable process. Their are times that Mews does not properly manage inventory and availability in Mews creating odd gaps that force us to reassign reservations so that we can create space for new reservations.
