When a reservation is created we have limited options to choose as the origin of the booking. We would like to have the option to customize these options ourselves to have a better overview of where the bookings come from.

Make space occupancy age depended
Guest book a room online for 2 adults in a room where we can accommodate 2 adults maximum. But the guest check in with a baby. And we want to adjust the occupancy of the room to 2 Adults and 1 Baby. This is needed for the security of the guest in case of e.g. a fire. It is essential that we know how many people are in the hotel and how many are in a certain room. Dynamic product rules - Base product rule on own criteria
Product rules should be possible to adapt based on arrival, origin, segment, rate, space etc. This allows us to automize specific charges and better work on upselling and creating new revenue streams!

Timeline
We greatly appreciate Mews Timeline. However, we are repeatedly making mistakes in recognizing what the arrival dates of reservations are. The confusion is that Monday Bookings are aligned under the word “Tuesday”, Tuesday’s under "Wednesday", and Wednesday’s bookings under "Thursday", etc. (it's left aligned)
A simple fix for this would be to provide an option for us to select “Right Align” for the whole of the “DAY” row. This option would be very much appreciated.

Allow Next Day Visual in Mews Housekeeping App
Our Back of House staff needs the ability to see next-day activities in the Mews Operations app so that staff doesn't need to access the Mews Commander Dashboard on a laptop or phone when looking forward outside of today's operations.

Auto log-out employee accounts
Implementation of a feature to automatically log-out signed-in employees after a certain amount of time, and additionally, a quick key to log out.
In some cases, multiple employees work on one computer and forget to log out. A quick key to log out would make it easier.15 votes -

Availability Block All Rooms
We are a small events venue with 22 guest rooms. When we get a wedding room block it is almost always for all rooms on property. When setting up a block, we add all 22 room categories one by one. We would really love it if there was a bulk add option all space categories to the block. Also helpful if there was a way to then allocate all available rooms in a category and not click on each category to adjust the number of spaces held.

Add Contract or Files to Blocks
It would be helpful if files like Confirmations/Contracts could be added to a Block. For most blocks we have seperate contracts that need to be attached to the block on a high level like Dashboard or Block Details. Then all contracts & Documents are on the Master Block and could be easily tracked

Change the amount of Guest on Kiosk
The property may need to ensure that all guests' information is filled during check-in due to regional requirements. Due to that, should any plans change from reservation creation to check-in regarding guest count, guests can't successfully check in if they initially booked for 2 people but only 1 person was able to show up.
Make it possible to change occupation (guest count) on the kiosk last minute.

Reservation Status after restoring the booking
After restoring a cancelled booking the status is automatically "Confirmed" and there is no possibility to change it.
It would be very useful to have the possibility to choose the status (Confirmed/Optional/Inquiry) to which the booking should be restored.
Specially for group tentative/optional bookings which have been cancelled after the option date and need to be restored because the guest is still interested, but the booking is not confirmed yet.

Routing rules - Bulk update
Currently you need to set an individual routing rule per company/ travel agency. Please add the option to add a rule to bulk/all companies on the system instead of having to add one by one. The aim on this occasion is to have the company that is assigned to the guest profile reflect on the final bill.

Note on Bookings
Every other PMS system I have used categorises Notes on bookings.
This really is a feature that needs developing In MEWS.There should be various boxes, one for Housekeeping Notes/ One for F&B notes/ Spa etc ...
These teams can then print off reports for notes just for them, without having to wade through things that are irrelevantAlso one for Public notes ( visible for Guests to see on confirmations and online Kiosks for self check in )
Private notes for Internal notes - visible only for staff & hidden from Guests.
This makes for a seamless guest journey,…

Mail Templates for blockreservation
We would like to send offers and confirmations of a block reservation directly from MEWS. For this we need mail templates for blocks and the possibility to click on the mail template option in the block (just like with the individual reservations)

Option to make comments from company profiles or rate codes visible for reservations
It would be nice to have an option that comments from rate codes, profiles or even blocks are inherited to the reservations.
