Chargeback report/overview improvements
For the chargeback report:
- Link the payments better together like you see them on the guest payment overview with payments & refunds. They are currently mixed in the report.
- Show on the report how many days the request is open, the last events e.g. similar as you can see in Adyen under the disputes.
- Currently there is no way to verify easily if we actioned the chargeback and what the status is. Especially working with a team on this and multiple locations there is no way to check this in MEWS and keep good control on it.

PSD2 - Get notified when payments are not verified in the 24 hours
With the new EU law coming into place. It would be very helpful to receive an email if a payment is not verified within the 24hours by the guest. (or at least to have the option to opt in/out to receive emails).
Having to check the finance reports daily is another task that I would like to avoid.

Redsys payment gateway integration
We would love that Mews develops an integration with the payment gateway called Redsys. It is the most popular gateway in Spain and it would simplify the majority of our payment transactions.

Support Visa and Mastercard Debit in Mews
Mews needs to support these payment types in their systems. At the moment the Accounting Report does not recognize Visa and Mastercard Debit, as the payment type is not supported. The payment types are now falling under the category "None", and not recognized by our financial package. Soon the Meastro card type will be replaced by Visa and Mastercard Debit, making this important.

Ask for consent in payment request to use CC details for future payments
When sending one payment request we would like to ask consent of the guest to take another payment from the same card.
This occurs for example when having reservations with multiple settlement rules.

Assign payments to certain cards (VCC)
When there is a VCC and guest's credit card on the booking, the accommodation payment that should be charged back to the VCC always seems to be charging the guest's credit card. To be able to assign different credit cards to different payments, or at least just VCC's would avoid a lot of overcharging of guests.

Failed automatic settlement notification improvement
When there's a failed automatic settlement, a task is put into MEWS. I would like different options just than a task, so I could for example also be notified by email. Also, I would like to change the settings for the desk (adjust the deadline and department for example)

Capability to choose for a receipt upon checkout
Both for the guests/booker when they are booking by Mews booking engine, or for staff at the booking process, or later by request from guests:
Giving the possibility to mark somewhere when you do the booking, that when the bill is closed at check-out time, the guest should receive the receipt by email automatically. This mark would then trigger this action and fwd the receipt either to the guest or the booker, again pending on the mark made when the reservation was done.
This to avoid the manually work to make a task that you should send the receipt at…

Refund
Automatic refund when clients declare it's a fraud in their bank.
Of course there are some mistakes but we should have the right to prove that it was an error or not and the system automaticly sends the money without any heads up or information.

Manually change the Status of Payments through the terminal
There is no way to change the status of the Credit card payments though the terminal. For Accounting and controlling reason it is necessairy to manually change the status to settled, such as payments by merchant.

Virtual Credit Cards are charged 100% allways even if it's Free Cancellation
Why virtual credit cards are charged 100% in advance, even if they are free cancellation.
It should charge only 1st night as with the others CC, depending on the settlement rules.

Billing address should be easily adapted
Please simplify the adjustment of the billing address for closed invoices so that the company address can be added or changed subsequently without having to reverse the invoice.

Ability to change items on the bill, by name
Hello.
We would like the ability to change items by description on the invoice. For instance, sometimes our restaurant bills has items that need another name on the invoice for the guests / company. It would help, to give items another description manually.

Ability to back-date payments
We need to sometimes make payments in Mews for cash and manual credit card transactions, but after the stroke of midnight there doesn't seem to be anyway to back-date it to the date you actually want the payment to appear for accounting purposes, and by applying the payment to the new date this further complicates matters because now you're kind of balancing over two days, and in perpetuity!
Could this please be rectified ASAP?

Open up MEWS Payments to other Booking Engines and Voucher Booking tools
We are really happy with Mews as a PMS and we are also happy about the gradual improvements that come over time. So far we have decided not to use the Mews Booking Engine, since we still see too many short comings in functionality for our purposes. We love using Mews Payments even though it's quite pricey.
Having said that, I would like to suggest to open up Mews Payments with all its features like Apple Pay and Google Pay for use in other IBEs as well. I do not like the policy to keep certain features limited to a…

Sometimes we need to access to CC details saved on Mews for different reasons as late charges. Give access to CC details to managers.

Payment triggers on zero balance
If the balance is zero dont trigger a payment again. In certain cases e.g. group res we precharge and it happens that the payment trigger kicks in again later so they pay duplicate a large amount.
