  2. Many clients have chosen to enable several payment types as part of their daily operations. For this reason, they would also like to allow guests to pay using the same list of accepted payment methods when booking online via Mews Distributor and also on site at the property.

    Hello, we are happy to announce that the first version of the gallery (multiple images per space category) has just been released on desktop today (November 13, 2019).

    This is the very first, simplified version of the feature and additional functions (carousel, animations, mobile support etc) will follow shortly.

  4. For chain properties, it may be useful to set up only one configuration to enable booking at any of your properties. Expansion of distributor configuration could enable this functionality and ease the booking process for guests who may be interested in staying at multiple locations.

  5. Company profiles are very important to keep track of business travelers and are used to analyze data regarding corporate stays. For this reason, it is always important to keep company details up to date. As many companies change or if there are any duplicate profiles, it could then be very useful to implement company profile merging, similar to the feature available for customer profiles. This addition can help keep all profiles up to date and encourage consolidation in your property's system.

  6. Magic links are a fast and secure tool for logging in to an account without password authentication. By including a magic link in confirmation emails, customers who create reservations through OTAs such as Booking.com could use that unique link to log in to their Mews Navigator accounts, update their email to correct one, confirm it using a magic link, and then complete online check-in before arrival.

    Hi Mewsers!
    Magic link are for quite while available for you as placeholders which you can simply add to your e-mail. (if you use our default reservation confirmation template it’s already there).

    We provide not only magic links for the online check-in but for messaging for example. Please find all magic link in the list of all placeholders for the emails here:
    https://help.mews.com/hc/en-us/articles/360001840877-Set-up-emails

    Guest with booking.com addresses receives e-mails from you together with magic links (b.com resends these emails to their real address).

  7. For automatic settlements via Mews Distributor, some users may find the total settlement amount to be unclear. Therefore, including this information in a more prominent way could be informative for all parties while also preventing any unwanted charges for future automatic transactions.

  8. For guests that are traveling with children, it is nice to give them a discounted price for some stay products, such as breakfast or excursions. Implementation of pricing for children can help to alleviate some of these costs for your customers and make pricing more attractive for families.

  9. Attaching the profile of the customer to the profile of the company will reduce the amount of manual work and help all future bookings make even more accurate.
