Ability to set maximum children per booking
In the configuration of the booking engine, you are able to select the maximum amount of adults per booking - but not the maximum amount of children.
This feature would be nice to have.

Review guest details in kiosk for recurring guests.
When a recurring guest arrives for check-in and finds his booking in the kiosk, he only has to authorize in the last step as his details are already known in our system. These details are not shown to the customer though. His Id or address might not be correct anymore so he is not sure which data he is authorising.

It would be nice if a customer could log in to their profile, allowing them to make additional or later bookings without having to add all their contact info again.

Auswählbar ob Kreditkarte beim Online check-in angegeben werden muss
Manche Gästegruppen müssen nicht selbst zahlen und nutzen daher den Online Check-in nicht weil dort die Kreditkarte angegeben werden muss. Warum kann man dies nicht auswählen? Die Arbeit wird nicht erleichtert, da zB Tagungsgäste sowohl Adresse als auch alle anderen Daten vor Ort eingeben müssen.

customize occupancy in the booking engine
We would like to customize the occupancy in the booking engine, so that we have the posibility to manage the amount of available houses for sale.
For example, when there is one house left in each house type, it should not be possible to sell in the Booking engine to avoid overbooking, so it is only possible to book by contacting us directly.

Set Signature as optional
Hi,
we would like to not ask for the signature during Online Check in or Kiosk Check in. Reason is that this takes extra time + the registration card (Meldegesetz) is nat mandatory anymore. So we do not want to ask for this to ensure better guest journey. It would be good to add this to the check in fiels which prperties can edit to make sure collect only the data they need.

Payment Successful Template: Add Advanced Customization
Payment Successful emails are being sent regardless of the reservation and cannot be disabled currently.
It would serve the properties best if the email could be sent to only designated recipients, especially when considering OTA confidential rates for CHM reservations. Sending the "payment successful" still reveals the amount that the hotel is trying hard to conceal.

Conditional Display of Add-On Products Based on Rate Inclusions
Enhance the booking engine to intelligently display add-on products based on the inclusions of the selected rate. Specifically, prevent the display of the breakfast add-on when the chosen rate already includes breakfast.
Background:
Currently, our booking engine is configured to offer both rates including anf excluding breakfast, allowing guests to add breakfast as an optional extra if it is not included. This approach works well for rates not including breakfast. However, when a rate that includes breakfast is the only option presented, the system still displays breakfast as an add-on. Signature for accompanying persons Optional
Since the update in July 2024, MEWS Kiosk asks for the signature of all travelling persons. As the data is usually filled in by the main booker and is not required by law, I agree that the signature for accompanying persons can be set to fixed, optional or not required as required.
In addition, it makes little sense to ask for this data for small children etc..

mark existing address as primary
Add a button or checkbox in address details to mark them as "primary".
Currently only the address entered last is marked as primary. To change an existing address to primary the address needs to be entered again manually.
Therefore I sugggest a simple checkbox within the address edit view to mark an existing address as primary to the profile.2 votes -
email templates/placeholders contains errors {DetailsHtml} {reservationDetailsHtml}
{DetailsHtml} shows requested room category, while:
{reservationDetailsHtml} shows category where the reservation is booked in actually.
means: if you booked the room in a higher category than requested (guest possibly gets an upgrade) and you sent a second confirmation to guest/booker later (because of a date change or you had a typo in the email, or else), you will confirm him the "upgraded category". He will resist on getting the better category even if you received cancellations meanwhile and want to move the reservation to the requested category.

Sending emails from the demo environment
It is both good and bad that emails are not sent out from the demo environment. For example, it can be difficult to access your guest portal or check-in to test something if you haven't received a real email from the system.
Additionally, it is also a problem to test email templates if you choose to build them yourself because the code (HTML/CSS) generated by MEWS is not 100% consistent with the code you insert.Therefore, it would be helpful if you could either enable email sending in the demo environment, so you can test the flow 100%, or if…

When merging profiles, have option to convert text to proper language
Some third parties send reservation details in all capital letters. When merging profiles for these reservations, it would be nice to have an option to convert text to 'proper language', i.e. convert JOHN SMITH to John Smith. Staff are currently manually adjusting the text in these profiles.
